We regularly go to this park. I like but I think the splash area pad needs resurfacing due to holes in it. It’s hectic in good weather but we like it for the splash pad, shaded grass area and swings.

I love any park that has a water feature. This has it all… swings for big kids and toddlers/babies. Equipment for the bigger kids as well as toddlers. It’s big so the kids can run around. There is a cute train the kids can play in. Picnic tables so you can have a picnic.

This place is great for all ages. They have two different playgrounds. They have a huge cactus like water sprinkler. Lots and lots of swings. Tons of room to run around and walk. And they also have table benches.

Fellger Park was the perfect place for my sidekick to run off some energy. The park seems very well-kept and there are a lot of different playground choices so my son never got bored. I love the safety ground that covers the play area. I wish all parks could have this. I think it’s made from recycled rubber and it’s a little bouncy. So the tumbles that toddlers take have less of a chance for serious injury. The slide, miniature train, the rocking train/fire engine and plane kept my son amused for such a long time, he even ignored our calls for ice cream when I came back with Gelato from Black Dog just across the street. In fact he ignored me and my husbands calls when it was time to leave too. There are benches, a nice shaded area and a grassy area. And the large water sprinkle area for the kids to cool off. The park is gated so if you have a fast-breaker, they can’t get too far. So glad we found this park!

Fellger Park is one of my favorite Chicago Park Districts parks to take my little one to. It is well kept and offers a variety of play equipment for toddlers and beyond. This park also features a cute miniature house, train and water area. It is often crowded during the day with tots and their nannies. I appreciate that the entire park is gated as it butts at the corner of a busy intersection. The park sits kitty corner from The Bleeding Heart bakery, so you can stop by before or after for a cup of coffee and tasty treats!
