Fish-i Design & Video

Jason & Patrick were the videographers at our wedding last August. Not only were they amazing to work with (super easy going, very flexible and professional), the footage came out beautiful and they caught so many wonderful moments!
Even more than that, I was amazed by how friendly and thoughtful Jason & Patrick are. To stay within budget, we staggered our photographer/​videographer time so that the videographers would capture the getting ready moments and the photographer would capture the sparklers at the end of the night. Even though Jason & Patrick were only scheduled to stay until 8 or 9, they not only showed up an hour early but stayed until the very end at 11pm! They were really wonderful to work with. And seriously– these guys are like ninjas once they get to your wedding. I was nervous about feeling self-​conscious while they were filming, but most of the time we didn’t even notice they were there until we later saw broader shots taken by our photographer.
I highly recommend working with Fish-​i Design if you want high quality footage and professional, easy going, friendly photographers.

Finding videographers for our wedding started out as a frustrating experience. We were given lots of excuses about why they didn’t use hd (the technology isn’t ready, really?) or why it would cost us 2x as much if they did use it. Others tried to impress us with dvd menus or cheesy graphics. Enter Jason & Arik. They were straightforward, honest, and most importantly, professional. Jason made it a point to follow-​up with us at several points during our planning process and reached out to our photographer to introduce himself. They made it a point to be unobtrusive during the wedding, yet managed to get all the important shots and even show off a few dance moves. We got our first preview of footage three days after the wedding! I really couldn’t be more pleased with the experience.

When I’m photographing a wedding, my main concern is getting the shots I need, as well as making sure the bride and groom are having a great time. Let’s just say that Lens-​Fishi is all about that!
