I’m sure the first thing you we’re wondering is «what the heck were you doing in that neighborhood?» What? A young, gay, white guy can’t hang out on the west side? Lulz… Anyway, I was en-route to the Loop from St. Charles and stopped here because it was the first convenience store my phone’s navigation found when I checked from I-290. I’m really not the type to get uncomfortable, even when I’m obviously out of place, but there are groups of people hanging out in front and around the building. In any area that can be uncomfortable. I was able to pop in, pick up a bottle of water(and an ice cream sandwich because it looked soooo good), and be back on my way relatively quickly. They apparently do a lot of lottery business here. If you get stuck behind a few of those customers be prepared to wait while they pick out their numbers and favorite scratch offs. Extra point because their sign about not being a currency exchange made me laugh out loud(literally).
