Food was so so. Customer service stinks. Then they have a sign up that says once you’ve ordered do not stand in front of window to watch them cook it. Why not? What’s to hide back there. First and last time visiting.

Food is horrible I’m not spending another dime there I tried jerk chicken fries, jerk chicken pizza, the jerk steak and jerk chicken tacos a waist of time will not be going back

Stopped here after work one night and I must say food was fantastic. Service is great, I called in my order and as soon as I pulled up it was ready no lines no wait. I had the jerk chicken philly with fries, as a jerk food enthusiast I was so happy that the sauce was so spicy and complimented the meat perfectly. Definitely will be making this one of my regular lunch/dinner spots!

My review of FRESHOFFTHEGRILL(1521 South Pulaski, Chicago): My niece(Niiah Marie Childress), nephew(Tyrone DahVeon Smith) and I went to visit this establishment because of a member of this group that posted a picture of a burger on May 29th(I only mention the exact date because I sincerely want to thank the young lady but I don’t know her name)! I put my screen shot in the comments so if that was you please tag yourself! We called ahead to find out if they were a cash only establishment and she stated that they accepted both debit/credit and cash. This was a relief because I’ve noticed that a lot of West side eateries only accept cash and as a rule I do not carry cash. It was easy to find right in the middle of the block and I parked fairly easily. Upon walking into the place it was quiet. We checked out the menu which was simple but had variety and the young lady behind the counter was just as pleasant and friendly while taking our order. We ordered the single cheeseburger($ 4.50), the double cheeseburger $ 5.50), the steak jerk taco on pita($ 5.00) and an extra order of fries(see pictures attached). The young lady repeated our order back and we took a seat on a bench in the waiting area. The food was made fresh to order and the price was really reasonable! The burgers were delicious and fresh and extremely big! They also use Roman lettuce on both the taco and the burger! It makes a difference. My niece pointed out the burger was on a brioche bun LOL(she works for a bake shop). But I digress, the double was so big my niece and I split it. We sampled the steak jerk taco and while it had the right amount of kick(I like jerk but I’m not the best judge of what heat is good heat). It had a nice flavor and the pita was a good option. When the food was done she made sure to repeat it AND ask for my ID when I presented my card. I totally recommend you stop by this place! I will be back for sure! They’ve got my business! Peace and Love Chi-Town Foodies! UPDATE: Went back for the regular and jerk pizza. Both were good and the family was satisfied.
