Pretty good for a random drop by. I was really craving some soup since I’m pregnant. Soup was good and food was good too. Nothing extravagant but it sure does get the job done. I have nothing negative to say at all. You guys should try it.

Nothing special. Just your average run down diner. Food was average not amazing and was slow getting to us considering it was breakfast and not busy. Silverware seemed just as run down as the diner, they probably need to replace them soon. It looks like it could use a ton of updating. Doesn’t look like the place has seen any tlc since they opened way back in the day. They may need to 86 that carpet because I’m sure that’s where the odor of old grease or something is coming from. Staff was friendly and there seemed to be some regulars there but overall the place was pretty empty. Don’t think I will be back. I went there because I pass it everyday and saw the reviews on here were great but I just don’t see the charm in this place, sorry. Honest review. Btw went there for breakfast.

Hands down the best diner in the area. Amazingly friendly service, cool regulars and well priced tasty food. Definitely the best sandwiches at any spot in Logan/Bucktown. Used to be a regular at Cozy Corner but the food here is twice as good at half the price.

It’s not the most attractive place in the world, but it does really harken back to what I consider a «real diner.» A greasy hole-in-the-wall with prompt service and good food. You can eat there with your little friend for less than $ 20.

I was up in the area because the only doctors open on a Sunday were in Logan Square. By the time my appointment was over, I was still hurting but knew I needed something in my stomach. I saw this very huge green sign that literally said, «OPEN restaurant.» I parked the car(very easy parking) and headed into the place. It’s a very old-style restaurant. The booths were maimed and the tables were lamented. I ordered old fashioned pancakes and orange juice. The service was a little slow, but when those pancakes came, I was happy to see them. The pancakes were fluffy and tasted great with the cold butter. They were simple tasting and that’s what I wanted. I could only stomach half of it(since I was still feeling ill), so the waitress quickly came with the to-go box and the check. It was an okay experience. I don’t think I’ll ever go out of my way to come back to this restaurant though.

Classic diner food. Great for a hangover brunch! Pancakes are solid. The omelet I had was a little dry, but I couldn’t say if that is a consistent issue or not. Very friendly service, cute diner atmosphere. I’m a fan!

All I have to say is that this is the only place where I’ve witnessed somebody seated at their table shout«Check please!» and the waitress actually came over with the check like that’s normal. It was awesome.

I’m not sure why this place is allowed to serve the public. Everything is filthy, the menu is disgusting, the floor and booths are dirty and ripped up. I did not take the time to look at the restroom, and I’m happy that I didn’t. My instincts told me to not order coffee. The cold toast was the best part of my breakfast. That was served first, then our meals came 3 – 4 minutes after. The food was not edible and the majority of it was left on the plate. Eggs are the most basic food to cook and yet they were over cooked and rubbery. What is the greasy«meat» in Suzy’s omelette? The bottom line is that this diner needs a health inspector.

Started to come here in the morning to pick up coffee. Ordered a toasted blueberry muffin on recommendation of one of the waitress’s. Yummmmmm! I now come every Sunday for breakfast at the breakfast club. The staff is fun and friendly. The customers are great and always fun — crazy conversations to be heard. Big portions, small price. Fun, happy place!

Wanted to try a new place and was in the area. I ordered a skirt steak and scrambled eggs as I do at all my breakfast establishments, a friend accompanied me and had the pork chops and eggs over easy. I could not believe how dry EVERYTHING was. All the salt and pepper in the world couldn’t help the eggs, and both the steak and the pork chops, absolutely tasteless! It wouldn’t hurt to put a lil seasoning on there folk’s. And don’t even get me started on the liquid crap they call coffee.yuck. If it wasn’t for the waitress, who seemed to be out of her element trying really hard to be a sweet server, calling me sweetie every 5 seconds, this place would’ve gotten 1 star. With other breakfast options nearby, i won’t be coming back to this one. Thanks, but no thanks.

It’s a diner with waitresses hoping for a tip and a cook and odd characters and eclectic and old surroundings. Pretty good food and breakfasts, Brunches, Lunches, Dinners, Prices that are reasonable. better then expected. Sometimes you see funny things or UN-orthodox conversations. Its a diner and a pretty darn good one. So stop by and get some breakfast or a Big Milk Shake and enjoy the rest of the day. Oh and the waitress would like a tip please.

I came here recently on a weekday for breakfast and the food was great the staff was friendly as well. Definitely a place I would like to keep coming to on weekdays because I heard it gets quite crowded on weekends. I had a waffle which was delicious, and the coffee was probably the best coffee I have had in years!

Good greasy spoon restaurant. Went on a Sunday morning and it was completely full. We sat at the counter and were promptly and continuously ignored by the waitstaff for about 15 minutes. When our orders were taken, we waited another 25 – 30 minutes for them. Given that I ordered eggs over easy, hash browns and sausage and my boyfriend an omelette, I have no idea wtf they were doing back there in the kitchen. The food was fine. Nothing great but nothing tragic. I’ll return for breakfast if the hangover calls for it and I don’t feel like driving anywhere.

This is the best diner in Chicago. The waitress knows everybody who eats here, it’s clean, cheap, friendly and the menu is a succinct one page, front and back. The food is delicious and generously served. This is a perfect restaurant for the non-yuppies(what few are left) in Bucktown. I’m sad it took me seven years to find this place. Bonus: they serve a $ 5 waffle. Why is this otherwise impossible to find in Chicago?

The staff is friendly(if you are) and the food is good and delivered with a wink. If you’re looking for something fancy, this isn’t your place. This is a restaurant where every other table is filled with regulars and locals that perhaps had too much to drink the night before. And me, of course, who lives around the corner and likes an endless cup of coffee and service with a smile. Fullerton Restaurant is a-okay in my book.

Okay, this is a bare bones diner. If you’re looking for service with a smile, fresh flowers on each table and non-plastic drinking glasses you’ve come to the wrong place. This diner is cheap, quick and in a great location. Normally, the hubby & I go to another diner further up the street that has all the things I mentioned, but I wanted to go somewhere different. I’ve been here a few times so I know what to expect. I’ve only ordered the breakfast food which is okay. The food isn’t incredible(good or bad) just average. Because the prices are not that different from our regular spot, I probably won’t be coming back here. The older I get the more I realize I want the service with a smile, fresh flowers on each table and non-plastic drinking glasses.
