The people here are awesome, cool and friendly. They tell the truth and do midnight launches, they try there best. Love the staff. Excellent service 5star

My son and I went to buy GTA5 for the PS4 and were greeted by the coolest and most knowledgable young lady. I know nothing about the video game world but I do know customer service and she was fantastic. Thanks so much!

No interest in being here but my boyfriend’s son loves video games. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Buy back option seems like a rip off. Signed up rewards card, we’ll see how that works out.

I like this gamestop the employees are always helpful and knowledgeable. They keep a nice selection of games and they have a good looking hispanic supervisor who wears glasses thats hot. Overall great place to shop for games.

Okay, so sure, sometimes there’s a weird smell in this place, like it’s built over a swamp or something. But I challenge you to find a video game store that doesn’t smell like something awful when there are twenty unwashed gamers milling about the place, rubbing their Cheetos-stained fingers onto every visible surface like they’re mourners at the Vietnam Memorial. Really nice dudes working here. Typical stock. Honestly, if you’re not shopping for new titles at a game store, then it’s a roll of the dice on what you’ll find no matter where you go. So complaining about them not stocking enough Dreamcast titles or some crap like that seems like an exercise in futility and ennui.

This Gamestop is a total bummer. The people are usually helpful — they are generally young people who like games and are enthusiastic — but they work for a gigantic network of Madden pawnshops who treat their customers and staff with open contempt. This particular location smells sort of like a toilet and is always crowded for some reason. If you HAVETO shop at Gamestop, I suggest the one in the south loop by Dominick’s(not the one by the Whole Foods that is basically across the street). But realistically, head to People Play Games or to the Play n Trade in Naperville. There’s no good reason to support this awful company.

Went in there to look at some used DS games and what I found severely disappointed me. I’ve been in countless Gamestops, and this is by far the saddest one I’ve ever seen. It is disorganized, clustered, crowded, small, and — get this — it lacks a dedicated Nintendo DS section. How the $%#@ do you not have a section for the most popular game system in history? Instead, all they had was some dinky glass case on the side of the counter for all their DS pre-owned titles. The selection was not in specific arrangement — can the employees at least try to alphabetize? It was also extremely challenging to see any of the games that were a little bit further back in the case. The reason why this place gets 2 stars and not 0 is because if I were looking for nonDS games I’m sure I would’ve had a slightly better experience. I’m just giving these guys the benefit of doubt.

Oddly enough it does smell in here, but not bad enough to keep you out. They have a huge collection of used titles at good prices. The new ones are the usual jacked up price…

Despite the advances in gender-equality in the Geek World, it’s still a bit of a boys’ club at the GameStop. My 3-star review is based on 2 things. 1) It SMELLS in there. It specifically smells like a highschool locker room. They are right across from a Walgreens. You’d think they’d invest in some air fresheners. 2) I tried to purchase a copy of Me & My Katamari here. The guy behind the counter sniffed and told me that it was an «obscure» title. The Katamari games are wildly popular. Also, I then got a copy at K-mart. How obscure can something be if you can find it at K-mart? Those things aside, every other game I’ve looked for has been there. Just yesterday, I purchased Katamari Forever. I guess the demand for Me & My Katamari made them wise up! The service is fine. They have to do their little pre-order spiel, but otherwise, they’re courteous and will chat about games.

A Typical GameStop, but it has a pretty good selection of outdated hardware and used games. This store has quite a few more loiterers than you would like, and gets pretty busy in the summer and after school hours.
