This is a great little shop and a nice alternative for some gifts if you don’t want to purchase anything too cheap. I bought two ceramic cat statues, and a really adorable sake set all for around $ 30. There’s much more I would have liked to buy, however, being in this store is rather uncomfortable. The salespeople will stalk you around the store and I understand theft being a real concern especially for a locally owned shop, but as someone who has worked in retail, there are better ways to not be so obvious that you think every customer is a thief — especially when they have cameras on every corner. Ultimately, being hounded made me leave early, I probably would have ended up buying more if I had been treated like a human and not a thief (the items I was holding were too big to stuff in my purse, anyway, c’mon people).

This place is great!!! There are so many different asian gifts you can find here. Lots of great prices as well. I was looking for a gift and happened to find some cute tea cups. The lady there told me that the cups were buy one get one free!!! (so I basically got them for $ 3.50 each) She was nice enough to go into the back of the store to find me some new inventory of cups too! They also had some wall fans for less than $ 10! They also have a lot of bamboo plants and even foods like fortune cookies and almond cookies. Great place to shop for gifts! They accept all major credit cards, even AMEX! =)
