This small restaurant has very nice staff with good food at reasonable prices. I suggest you give it a try.

My friends and I literally live about two blocks away from this little pizza place. For the past two or three summers, this has been our hang out spot. The food here is delicious as well as affordable. Though there is only one employee at a time, he does his best to work as fast as possible. Yes, the food might take a little longer than usual, but we don’t mind sitting and talking. No one really goes into the little pizza place, but I love that no one is there to judge us. it opens pretty early, and closes pretty late and is open on most holidays for a decent amount of time. I totally recommend!

we order from there like 2 a week, the food is fast, and good… The pizza was great, but my only complain is that there is only 1 person working in there, I think there is the cook, and the delivery man. they need to hire more staff

This place was the highest rated pizza place within three miles so I figured it was a good bet. I’m truly disappointed in my pizza, the one employee in the place, and the cleanliness. I called in advance to order a large thin crust ham and mushroom pizza. While on the phone with the employee trying to place the order he had me repeat my order three times. And twice during the call he asked if I was ordering a pizza from Giorginos or Giordanos. Really? How many people make that mistake that you then need to make every customer who calls to feel like an idiot? When I arrived in the quoted 25 minutes there were two customers in front of me waiting while just one employee ran crazy around the kitchen preparing different things. While I waited I took note of a few things. First was that all the lights in the place were off except for the kitchen. It was dinner time, not a slow period in between lunch and dinner. Next was the cleanliness of the kitchen. I wouldn’t even call it a level of cleanliness but a mass of filth. Food sitting open like Italian beef, some ground beef or burgers, and what looked like a bag of shredded white cheese — all things that need to be kept refrigerated. And then I watched the employee go from handling money to open food without washing his hands or putting on gloves. Now let me talk about the thin crust pizza. Not so thin. The crust was more like a hand tossed Pizza Hut or Papa John’s crust. There was an ample amount of sauce and cheese. The ham was OK but really didn’t have much taste. Then we get to the mushrooms… I’ve never had anything other than fresh mushrooms on a pizza. These mushrooms were the kind that come in a can and are smaller«Pieces and Stems» and were quite mushy. Last time I looked the fresh mushrooms were a lot less expensive than canned stems. It took the flavor and texture of the pizza right down. So the only slightly good aspect I can mention here is that the Family Dollar allows Giorginos customers to park in their lot. I can’t honestly see a reason to try this place again. So many issues I can’t see all of them being fixed. How disappointing for a local place that isn’t a chain company.

The pizza is good, your typical Chicago style Pie, delivery has been consistent and my family really enjoys it. Adam mentioned them running out of pizza, that is great. If I owned a pizza joint that is how I would do it. They have a very good fried chicken, cheep and crispy, I was not sure how it would hold up for delivery, but on two occasions it has been crispy and seasoned well. Maybe a touch much on the breading, but good none the less.

I can’t give the pizza any review because when I walked in I was told they where out of pizza. WTF???How does a Pizzeria run out of pizza? One more place I will never go back to. It does not deserve a star but I have no choice according to the Unilocal Gods

I would looooove to give this place 5-stars for their food, but their delivery service /speed is usually not so great. The pizza is fantastic! Thinnish crust, but not super thin; very crispy without being burnt(although sometimes the middle is slightly undercooked); and they do NOT skimp on(sweetish) sauce, meat, cheese or other ingredients. A few of your mates not interested in pizza? The rest of Giorgino’s diverse menu is just as tasty! I’ve ordered the beef burrito before and it is HUGE and delicious! The ribs are also tres amazing and portions of everything on the menu are very large. Plus, if you are a Royal-Crown fan, you will be happy to note that they serve RC sodas, and depending on the size of your order you get a free liter of RC(if you want Diet or something else, mention it on the phone). On the other hand, while the delivery guys are really friendly, they are often really late — maybe it’s their fault, maybe it’s the kitchen’s fault, maybe it’s a little bit of both. If they tell you 45 minutes to an hour — it’s likely going to be 90 minutes. Still the food comes hot and ready to chow without a visit to the microwave.(PS — delivery fee is $ 2.50.) You can also walk in and order, but I’ve never actually been there, so I don’t know if you can stay and eat or if you order, pick-up, then skedaddle. They have great coupons on their carryout menus, so if you need to save your pennies, check out the coupons first. I keep going back for the tasty tasty pizza — just have patience, and you might love it, too.
