Two words to describe this event: sh*t show. It had a lot of potential, but it was so mismanaged. The line was around the block(literally) and took forever to get in due to disorganized entry process. People with tickets waited in line with people who did not have tickets. You had to wander around to get someone to check your ID for a wrist band. But then you had to go to another line to redeem your ticket for a punch card, and then another line to get a cheap plastic cup. There were two lines for ticket holders to get the aforementioned punch card. A-M for your last name, then N-Z. There was at least 15 times more people in the A-M line. Did they then look at the situation and rebalance, realizing their error? Nope. N-Z line was virtually empty while the cattle herd spilled out onto the street for A-M. They oversold tickets. Because of the absurd lines, no one in my party of 6 people got more than 4 – 6 punches on their card, even though we were entitled to 25 punches. 1 punch = 4 oz pour. Some taps were kicked after an hour, which created even longer lines since there were less options. Mess, mess, mess. The bourbon barrel beers were all in one single line. So despite have 10 options, and breaking those out into 10 tents(or at least 5) they had one, and the line was over an hour long, sometimes longer. So poorly planned. If they had in-house event planning, then they are bad at their job. If they hired external event planners, get your money back(I wish I could get mine back! At least pro-rated). And if you were too cheap to hire an event planner, don’t bother doing anything for your 50th.
