This place stinks. My friend and I got the burger and it was so over cooked we didn’t finish it. It was incredibly dry. The only reason I gave it 2 stars was the beer and amount of TVs. Go to another terminal and get food.

Our waitress sucked and was zero attentive. When we got our wings, we asked why there were only 7 of the SMALLEST wings I’ve ever seen, since we saw another guy with a plate full(about 12) earlier. She said that’s how many come. Then minutes later, the guy next to us got his order, and my husband literally counted 9. We understand the price gouging everything since it’s the airport, but c’mon…waste of $. Plus they weren’t even good.

Waiter ignored us until we tried to order at the bar and had them send him over. Never gave us a menu and literally spoke one word to us. We had to hunt him down to pay after the bartender wouldn’t close us out. 45 – 60 minutes to get served, drink a Bloody Mary, and pay. Terrible service, very average drink.

The bartender«Joe» was extremely rude and insensitive! Unfortunately there are limited options close to the gate. Hopefully enough negative comments will cause them to improve customer service

Only place to sit and grab a drink that was even remotely near my United terminal. Had to wait a bit as all of the tables/bar area was taken up but no biggie I had time to kill. Ordered a gin and tonic and an Italian beef sandwich from the bar and sat down. Drink came up quickly, sandwich took about 20 minutes. The Italian beef was surprisingly good for being airport food. Service was definitely a little slow after ordering my first drink and it gets crowded.

Ok was a busy place but I sat here and didn’t get a menu for 10 min, then they asked me what I wanted. I asked for a menu. Some minutes later the guy came back and I told him I wanted chicken strips and a beer, he said he could do that but only for the full price of a meal, so I walked away

Goose Island is still the only«sit down» restaurant near our Virgin America gate so DH and I opted for a light lunch here before our flight to SFO. Fortunately during our most recent visit, Goose Island was not busy and we had no trouble getting a table. I enjoyed my Green Line and DH seemed satisfied with his India Pale Ale. We shared a chicken club sandwich. Our wait person was efficient and friendly and gave us two plates for our sandwich and fries. For airport food and beverage, Goose Island is a reasonable choice. Goose Island has redeemed itself since our last visit.

Airports suck but, this place make a layover in Chicago O’Hare better. The food is good and the beer is great. If you’re not a Goose Island fan they have the usual selection on draft and in the bottle.

I should have heeded Unilocal’s warning, but I went anyway. I cannot, in good faith, recommend this place to anyone. First of all, this claims to be a Goose Island establishment. They only have five taps(ridiculous) two of which are Budweiser products(though, I suppose they all are after the buyout). Either way, the three Goose Island beers that were on tap can be found at any convenience store and the IPA(Green Line) that I had wasn’t even remotely fresh. Matilda and Goose IPA were also offered, except they were out of Goose IPA. When I saw their mediocre tap offerings, I assumed that maybe they had some better beers in bottles. Nope, only Goose Island Winter Ale… In the fucking Spring. How are you a Goose Island restaurant and the only Goose Island beers that you have are several months old? Regarding the food, you can tell this is a GFS special. My burger could have come straight out of a food service catalog and the fries were laughable. I realize you can’t expect top tier food from an airport, but this was really sad. I will say that the staff here is good, they were very attentive and helpful. The management, however, was ridiculous. While I was there, the keg of Matilda that they had tapped kicked and needed to be replaced since there were several orders requesting it. The keg cooler is in a small closet which also houses the manager’s computer. When staff went to change the Matilda keg, the manager was using the computer and flipped out that he was being asked to move in order to replace the keg. Instead of those customers getting the Matilda they had ordered, they were downsold to Green Line. When I left about thirty minutes later, the Matilda keg still had not been changed.

We arrived at our terminal and gate with plenty of time to spare so Joe R and I decided to grab a «happy vacation, we are going to Puerto Rico!!» pre-flight beverage. Goose Island was the closet to our gate so we stopped in and sat at the bar. We were the only people at the bar, and there were maybe 6 other people total sitting at the tables. We ordered 2 screwdrivers… that’s orange juice and vodka. One of the two drinks wasn’t even full; there was a good inch of space that should have been drink. We brushed it off, thinking maybe they ran out of juice??? Anyway, drinks were okay. The girl definitely measured out the vodka with a jigger, the small end of the jigger. We asked to settled up and it took nearly 10 minutes for the bill… we were charged nearly $ 9 per drink! Aye aye aye. Well, it was our spring break adventure so we paid and then boarded our flight. I don’t recommend if you are in a hurry. And the drinks are way overpriced!

While waiting for my flight, I decided to eat at goose island. I know their craft beer really well and never ate there. I got the steak sandwich and an IPA. The sandwich was good but it did not have enough meat for the price and it was very salty. The beer is good, I prefer the green line. All in all, I gave it 3 because the beer is good and the food is very average, nothing special.

I regret going against my better judgement and coming here. I was delayed a few hours, so realistically, time wasn’t an issue, but if you’re on a tight schedule, this isn’t the place to come unless you tell them to get you a drink and your check. When I first walked up, someone handed me a menu and walked away. I assume that means seat yourself??? 7 mins later, the same guy takes my order. They have an ad for a Bloody Mary out front and it looked delicious, so I got one. It was in a flute, not a pint glass, and it tasted like Campbell’s tomato soup and ½ bottle of Tobasco. It was horrid… and $ 15.00! I ordered the Bloody Mary and a strak at the same time, drink came in what seemed like a blink of the eye! I figured, awesome, quick service at a sit down place. Noted for the future. Wrong! 23 mins later, I get a partially warmed steak that was covered in salt and pepper! Finish eating… sitting…sitting…sitting…13 mins later, I’m looking around and we catch each other. Check comes and I’m out. I spent am hour and a half on mostly waiting around for terrible food and a drink. You’re seriously better off going ANYWHERE else in the airport! A.N.Y.W.H.E.R.E!!!

The Layover Scene… and action! Seeing I had a good amount of time to kill I decided to hit up Goose Island Brewery for some libations and some grub action. I went with the grilled breakfast panini with scrambled eggs, applewood smoked bacon on sourdough, with cheddar cheese holding things in place. I originally was gong to get this with sausage, but my server gave me the heads up that this isn’t a fan favorite. I guess Abe Froman isn’t the sausage king of Chicago. I do have to admit good call on my server, I saw what the links look like, yea not to appealing. What was even better this came with steak fries. Personally I love steak fries. The sourdough could’ve been on the grill a little longer, being it was a little on the weak side. The scrambled eggs were ok, but what helped it out was that cheddar cheese. The cheese and that bacon made this work. It was not to thick, not to thin, but just right that made the difference in this breakfast. The selections on tap are minimal if you are looking to partake in a craft. I got lucky and scored with a seasonal craft, but other than that, for the regulars on tap try the Green Line Pale Ale. If you’re not into the craft scene they do have a great selection in liqours for you to peruse. It may not be that big but they maintain the space pretty good even if the food is somewhat ok. What makes me give them 3 stars is the crafts, you can vape in here and their servers.

Came by here to pick up a grilled ham and cheese panini sandwich to go for a quick dinner on the fly before my connecting flight. I’ve been a fan of Goose Island beers for quite some time. However the food I ordered was somewhat uninspiring and tasted like something my six year old daughter could do a better job of. It did fill the need to get some food in my stomach for dinner but it was forgettable. As others have mentioned the bar here is small and for the last few times I’ve been here it’s been chock full. Back to the sandwich, it was a minimal serving size of ham and cheese and was served hot off the grill. It came with some warm chips that were salt n pepper but overall I wouldn’t come back here. If you do come for the beer(Goose Island really is a great Chicago beer company) skip the sandwiches maybe try something else off the menu like the wings. Or If you are in Terminal C and have time head to Berghoff down at the other end of the terminal as their sandwiches are off the chart compared to the bland sandwich I had here. I do like to explore and test out the different restaurant offerings of O’hare. This one was meh!

When first arriving in Chicago for a long layover I was so excited to see a Goose Island Brewery. I love the idea of having«local» beer. I was well over the place by the time I got back to Chicago for my layover home. The selection was so tiny! Their brewery is based out of Chicago so they should seriously be going deep into their brew list. The bar and restaurant were tight quarters and the wait staff was indifferent. I had a Matilda when I arrived for the first time and an IPA to close out my trip. Meh. They were no fresher than the brews I get in Philly. You can really see the corporate takeover at work. The bar was rampant with fruit flies. On the plus side, it’s convenient to terminal L and it is a bar. They also didn’t yell at me or my husband for eating outside food(leftovers from San Diego… yum).

This review is for the O’Hare Airport Goose Island location. We had lunch here during a long layover at O’Hare. Goose Island is a great favorite of ours, so if nothing else we could have a couple of drinks and improve our afternoon. Beers are great, of course — and expensive at $ 9 per pint. We each had paninis, and my tuna and artichoke was a decent accompaniment to my IPA. Hit the spot. There isn’t a ton of seating, so if you are able to sit down, enjoy it.

This spot is conveniently located near the Spirit Airlines terminal. My co-worker and I were on a mission: mimosas and breakfast. Goose Island does both. The mimosas were a translucent shade of orange, in one word: perfect. There’s a full bar and, of course, all of Goose Island’s current beer offerings. I ordered an omelet, served with potatoes on the side. The omelet was alright, but like all airport food, it was more money than I would normally spend on an ordinary omelet. The food isn’t what you would expect at a gastropub or craft beer brewery/restaurant. It’s basic breakfast food. Normally, I’d grab breakfast at McDonald’s in a pinch, or a snack at the newsstand. The service was slow, but I’ve come to expect this in all airport restaurants. Would not recommend if you are in a hurry or spending your own money. Would come here again for the drinks but not the food.

Not a bad place to kill time before a flight. We both ordered the Wisconsin cheddar burger and stayed with the chips that came with it. We were not asked how we wanted our burger cooked, so I’m sure they’re cooking up frozen ones in the back. They were big, but lacked flavor. I was impressed though with the bun it was served on. Seemed to be a higher quality bun than I was expecting, so that was enjoyable. The chips were a nice portion, some of them were perfectly seasoned and had a ‘sour cream and onion’ type flavor to them. Some, though, had a thick layer of this on it that was salty beyond compare. I had to scrape a lot off those to be able to eat. I only ate half the burger, and decided I would take the rest with me until they brought me the to-go container, which had a dark HAIR in it. The waitress seemed embarrassed at that and brought me a new one, but I couldn’t shake the nausea that it caused, and ended up tossing the rest of my burger after I left. I think the prices seemed expected for an airport, but not exorbitant.

This is a pub in an airport. I will review it as such. They have ood, though overpriced, beer. The service on both of my visits was great. Chicken tenders and fries were very good. Both were served hot and fresh, with really good bbq sauce. Next time I find myself in this region of O’Hare, I’ll certainly hit up Goose Island again.

$ 9 for a pint. Ridiculous for mediocre beer and of course they don’t put drink prices on the menu. My husband and I had two beers each and we ended up with a $ 50 bill. They give you an IPA in a hefeweizen glass to make it look like you’re getting more beer, but it’s a pint. They only have four of their beers on tap, one of which comes in a wine glass, so weird! Who puts beer in a wine glass?! Absolutely nothing edible on the menu.
