Unfortunately I can not comment on the food because it was so very masked by the horrendous customer service. The woman taking orders so so extremely disrespectful and rude, that when I walked in, there were already two women complaining about how she had already displayed such rude behavior. She snatched the money from the customer ahead of me and had a terrible disposition. She shoo’d a customer away with her hand when she asked if her order was done. Needless to say, I did not eat here and NEVER will!

I decided to do a review which I normally don’t, but considering I spent 20 $ on two orange chicken combos and receive the worst Chinese food I’ve ever experienced. I had to make a comment.

This was my third(ONLY) choice for Chinese food tonight. I did not want to drive back to Kedzie for ChiTung and the other place I think is halfway decent was closed! So I ended up here. It’s my second time at this restaurant and I was sooo excited to return after getting what was supposed to be crab Rangoon my first time(they were fried so hard, they were inedible). I chose a special which consisted of egg foo young, an eggroll and chicken fried rice(not sure why it wasn’t plain or shrimp like other restaurants… or am I). I checked my order and realized no fortune cookie. Weird I know! I inquired and was told they don’t come with the meal. The woman then motioned to the plastic bin filled with cookies on the counter which read«cookies $.10.» I burst into laughter and replied, «are you serious?» Obviously annoyed, the woman threw one in my bag as if she was doing me a favor. The food: The rice was ok. The chicken in it was leftover, oversized pieces(by pieces I mean two) of chicken from what I don’t what to know. The gravy on the egg foo young was an orange color. A little strange but it didn’t taste too different than what I would expect. They definitely still use MSG because it was SALTY. The eggroll was sour. Not like I put sweet and sour on it; but it was going bad! Who has ever had a spoiled eggroll?! So disappointing! Sigh…I should’ve known better than to try this place again. I let my hunger pains get the best of me and now I hope that doesn’t lead to food poisoning pains!

This place is in the same strip mall that has the best Harold’s chicken in Chicago and Docks fish. It is anchored by the Food 4 Less grocery store. This is the Best Chinese food in the area. Generous portions, fairly priced, fast and polite service. The egg-foo-young patties and the triple delight are especially good. Call ahead and they will have your order ready. Cash Only.

Tonight I was desperate. They’re the only Chinese restaurant OPEN within a reasonable distance. Tofu is bland with the sauce and the fried rice is so greasy I could replace my chap stick with the rice. However, I do like the idea of serving tofu in a community where most people are like«Whats tofu?» or «Ew tofu.» and the food was hot. I won’t be back.

Food is good. Never have to wait long. Best in area. Variety of dishes and they give you a lot of food in your order.
