Things I look for in a tax refund appointment: quick, understandable, fair and quick! That being said– today I booked an appointment with Larry (Lawrence on the website) for a last minute tax refund appointment, and I was EXTREMELY satisfied on all my criteria! I booked last minute hoping I could utilize a free hour that I had today, making an appointment online was as quick as a click. I was pleased when I met Larry, whom handled my refund, as from the get go he asked me what I WANTED out of the appointment (he asked me if I was looking for quickness, education& learning, etc). Larry took the time to ask me questions about myself, as well as telling me his previous history as a retired math teacher– nice things to know when someone is handling your money! He walked me through the entire process, asked the right questions and clarified anything I was unsure about. I walked away with not only a fair refund, but feeling more confident in understanding my taxes and my annual earnings reports. I already know I will book an appointment with him specifically next year– highly recommend him to anyone in the Lakeview area!
