H2O Plus

I have been a longtime customer of H2O Plus, and since they don’t have as store near where I live anymore, I only order online. On this last online order, I ordered on Nov. 30, and my credit card got charged on Dec. 4. Today, Dec. 11, I checked my order on their website and the shipping information said delivery will be on Dec. 17. Really, 17 days to get something delivered in this day of quick Amazon delivery? I’ve ordered other stuff from other retailers online after Nov. 30, and I already received them. Not my H2O Plus order. I like their products, but if delivery will take more than 2 weeks, then they will have one less customer, and I certainly will not recommend them to anybody I know.

The once a year H2O Plus Warehouse Sale is worth the trek. I bought lotion for the year, some gifts, masks, exfoliators and some other foofy stuff and it cost me les that $ 100.00!
We got parking at the meter right on Madison. No wait to get into the sale.
It is a warehouse, so no kids allowed. No shopping carts. Instead, you get a box with a rope attached to tote your stuff. And it works well.
My advice? Skip all the trial sizes and head for the big stuff. That’s where the value is.
Cashiers were very nice, despite looking tired from the long day.

I was in Chicago recently on a trip and decided to check this place out for some Christmas gifts. I was immediately greeted by Min and she asked if I needed any help or if I was looking for anything in particular. I explained to her that I was looking for Christmas gifts but I was also looking for a body scrub for myself. She took me though every body scrub they carried and recommended the spa sea salt skin smoother. She had mentioned this was her favorite and most intense body smoother they had. While deciding between two body scrubs, she asked me if I wanted to test the sea salt skin smoother. It was amazing. I assumed that the sea salt would completely dry out my skin and would require me to apply a moisturizer after. However, after I washed it off, it felt like I had just done a paraffin wax treatment on my hands.
I was so impressed I decided to pick one up for myself. Based on its location on Madison, I assumed the prices would be on the expensive side and was completely thrilled when she told me the 24oz bottle was only $ 26. Since it is the holiday season, they also had a gift set trio which included the skin smoother, body butter, and body wash for only $ 25. I was also able to add on a trio for the face for only $ 6 with my purchase, the perfect stocking stuffer! When I finally got to the register I had mentioned that I was unsure how I was going to fit everything in my luggage. Min, who helped me the entire time, told me that they could ship my purchase for a flat rate of $ 5.99 and by doing so would not have to pay the 9. crazy% sales tax. Hearing that, I decided to not hold back and duplicate my order. My final total was over $ 100, granting me free shipping and no sales tax!
I was worried about the shipping because I live in Hawai’i and was expecting a call saying that I would have to pay a shipping fee for shipping outside the contiguous states. I did not receive that call nor did I have to wait an entirety to get my box, within the promised week, I had a box waiting for me at home! I was so excited and even more ecstatic when I opened the box and found that they packed everything with tons of tissue and bubble wrap and even added in shopping bags for me to give my gifts in.
This was seriously the shopping highlight of my Chicago trip!
