This company is by far the worst property management company within Chicago. I lived there for a year without my front gate working from my phone, the gate being broken 4 times within a year, garbage not being taken out, for a month during the winter there was ice blocking the my back gate so I had to carry my trash out through the front and walk around to the alley. The property manager Glenn Langston is extremely rude and disrespectful. Overall I couldn’t wait to move and I would never encourage anyone to move into any of their units unless you want issues, after issues, and more issues.

Great place, spacious, good price. Rented six months at 47th and drexel, moved out two months after management changed. Old management– trash pickup, ongoing courtyard maint, professional maint crew, quiet building, working class tenants, secure property New management– no trash pickup, but forgot to tell tenants so they still left trash outside… then came the mice and raccoons, one gentlemen who was nice, but a drinker became maint«crew», decided to run a special no credit checks or background checks, building became party central with soo much traffic; buzzer system worked sporadically so ppl randomly pressed buttons or shouted in the middle of courtyard. Managements response, «you don’t like it move out, i can get more for that unit.» The studios now rent for 650 – 700, I was paying 575. Such a shame because i really loved my place. I moved out 2 months later with early lease termination.

SO, since my 1st review I moved out of the property because more problems began to surface. I discovered that they have mice. I refuse to live in a place with something or someone and I’m the only one paying rent. I told the management about the problem and it took them a good 4 days just to bring around traps. At this time I decided to finally move once my lease was up. While waiting to move, I also discovered a leak in my bathroom ceiling… in the light fixture. I’m about 99.99999999% sure that’s a effin’ fire hazard. I called the BBB and reported them to 311 and the problem still was not fixed before I moved out. When I told them that I would not be renewing my lease, they said if they fixed all of the problems(door bell, mice problem and ceiling) would I stay? WTH??? Isn’t that their job anyway? I’m so glad to be gone from that place.
