Very thorough and complete. Doesn’t ask for unnecessary tests. She is treating me for glaucoma and generally doesn’t suggest laser surgery unless there is no other alternative. I’ve been going to her for many years.
The only downside: she doesn’t have email and doesn’t have a fax machine either.

Very good eye doctor!
Dr. Ilkiw is highly trained and very thorough. As a doctor she is cautious and will only prescribe what you need, not what is trendy. While she is an eye surgeon, she is not a fan of laser eye surgery.
Unfortunately she chooses to not be a part of any insurance plan, so expect a $ 190 charge at the end of your appointment. Also, she chooses to stick with paper records and type writers.
