Fatima is undoubtedly the most talented hair stylist in Chicago. She will gratefully style your hair to your preference or if you ask for it, will give you personal recommendations based on your hair type and face shape. Her results are consistently perfect every time, which is somewhat unheard of in this particular line of work. She is always upbeat, energetic and just a pleasure to be around really. I would highly recommend making an appointment with Fatima and iMale Salon.

After going to a few different places, I found iMALE about 3 years now, and I’ve been coming here ever since. It’s a great experience all around, from the flat screens to the hot towel and everything in between. I’ve been going to Sandra the entire time — ask for her! She’s done an awesome job on my hair — I wanted to switch my hair style, didn’t know how to describe it, but she got it spot on. I’ll be leaving Chicago by the end of the year, and I’m going to be bummed that I won’t be going to Sandra any more to cut my hair!

This review is for Cali Sherman at iMale Salon. I have been going to iMale Salon for the past 2 years. I refuse to go anywhere else for a haircut or a beard trim. Cali tailors her haircuts to the customer and always offers suggestions and creative ways to refresh your look.
Cali is dedicated to making her customers feel great after every haircut. Her attention to detail and professionalism always makes for a great experience.
The experience at iMale is unprecedented. They do a great treatment on your hands, hot towel as they wash your hair, and then they provide a great tailored haircut for the style you are going for.
Cali does it all and is also fantastic at beard trims if your in need.

So… I am older, like 65+, decided to trust Unilocal reviews and was well rewarded. Had to wait a couple of minutes but worth it! Ask for Jillian. Young, college grad, a little traveled, made me feel comfortable! Say yes to the paraffin wax. It’s included and feels great.

Calling all Dad’s, Brothers, Bro’s, and Boyfriends… if you want to look your best, look no further. I was heading to lunch with a friend one day and he asked me to meet him here while he finished his haircut. Every guy within a square mile radius of this place should be going here for the cut. The entire staff… so pleasant, professional, and pretty! If you go, I recommend asking for CALI. Be prepared to look your best after leaving, she works major magic.
As a woman, I know a good salon when I see one… you’re welcome fellas. CHOP, CHOP… make your appt.

I am visiting Chicago and decided to get my hair cut at IMale. I am gonna keep this review short. I got one of the best haircuts in a very long time. Sandra cut my hair and she is beyond awesome. So much attention to detail. I really wish she would move back to SoCal. I highly recommend this place and if you go make sure you ask for Sandra. Couldn’t be any happier with the service I got. I’m moving out of Chicago, and iMale is going to be one of the places I’ll miss.
Rachel cut my hair for two years and could not have done a better job. She guided me through the process of growing it out and walked me through styling it during that process. Thanks to her, I never had an awkward phase between hair styles. Once we got it to the length I wanted, she kept my hair well-​maintained. Even in the week before I was due for another cut, my hair was easy to style and held up well throughout the day.
A haircut costs more than it would at a barber, but you also get a lot more, including shampoo and conditioning before and after your cut, a mini-​facial and paraffin wax treatment for your hands. It’s a great experience. The staff will ask you if you want additional services or products, but they’re never too aggressive about up-​selling you. Highly recommended.

I’ve been going to iMale every month for over a year to get my haircut, and even when I was living in Los Angeles I would still fly to Chicago for a haircut. Best place I’ve ever been to. Great location and facility. All the girls there are awesome but I recommend Cali S. She’s an ARTIST and very friendly! Gets my hair perfect every single time. If I could rate this place 6 stars I would.

Got my haircut by Jackie and she was great. Very nice to talk to and left me with a fresh ‘do. The paraffin hand treatment during my hair wash was a great bonus, as was the hot towel.
I walked out of there feeling like John Travolta, struttin down the street in Saturday Night Fever.

I’ve been here two times (different stylists) and both cuts were perfect. Really friendly staff. Little pricey, but it’s on my way home from work and they did such a nice job it is easy to overlook. Pretty relaxing haircut also to unwind after work.
As someone that is use to small one person hair salons it is a refreshing change to have multiple stylists to book with that do a great job.

I don’t typically like getting haircuts in the city because they are so overpriced, but iMale offers a lot for a $ 43 haircut. Whenever I’m in the area and I need a haircut, I always go to iMale. Sandra is my stylist and she does a fantastic job. She takes pride in her work.
Most salons in the city charge over $ 50 for just a haircut, but at iMale they give you a lot of extra’s for the money.
