Depending what generation you grew up in, might determine how you feel about this place. Born in 88″ alot of the music here is before my time, but I can greatly appreciate it. How many places can you hear AC/DC, Micheal Jackson, TLC, to Justin Bieber in a span of 10 mins, not many! The people who come here love to drink, and dance their nostalgic desires away. To me its a late night spot, prb wouldn’t eat here. Its a fun divey kinda place for people who love 80s/90s music.

*******BEWARE!*******BEWARE!*******BEWARE!*******BEWARE!******BEWARE!*****BEWARE!**** I used to like this bar until I found out that they ILLEGALLY took my friend’s photo from Facebook and are using it as publicity on there main website! I NEVER gave my permission for them to use my photo that a friend took and posted to their private Facebook page! I only discovered this when a friend went to their site for info for a bachelorette party and noticed. I immediately consulted with my lawyer who stated my friend has copyright of this photo and they cannot use it for publicity means as I did not give me rights for it to be used. It took THREE messages and a full day for ME to actually be able to get a hold of a manager(mind you I had to finally call and get him as he never returned any of my messages). I was promptly met with hostility and accusations that Facebook privacy allows them to STEAL photos from Facebook(WRONG) and when I notified him that that is actually inaccurate he then proceeded to tell me that since it is not malicious I shouldn’t have any problem with it. Wrong! Nothing other than, «I apologize that we used a photo that the rights were not granted to us and we will resolve the matter immediately» is an acceptable answer to me. I have an issue when you do something that is illegal and don’t even bother to notify the individual that you would like to use it. Had they asked me no problem, but their BLATANT disregard for my rights is terrifying. I asked for it to be taken down within 24 hours and was told that was not possible due to it being managed by an external vendor. Ok, I will give 3 business days because I am reasonable. Go onto the website today to find that the photo is STILL being used only they Photoshopped another face over mine. Not only is this a LIE but my friends are still being exposed. Mind you this photo was from April 2015 — HOWSAD that they are that hard up that they have to use stolen photos and can’t get enough on their own that they aren’t willing to just take it down but instead go through the pains of photoshopping. BEWARE if they are fine stealing your photos online they clearly don’t have any ethical boundaries and I wouldn’t dare give them access to my personal financial information(i.e. credit card) Needless to say I will not be back after this atrocious disregard for ones right and the unprofessional manner in handling the situation.

Popular crowded wicker park scene with tons of yuppies. It’s a fun bar to hangout. They close at 2 sour you want to keep on partying other options are just across the street or short walk away.

Daily specials make for a nice place to chill and watch a game. Tuesday night trivia along with a friendly and professional staff make Innjoy one of my favorite spots in the city. Highly recommended!

I had a ton of fun here tonight… The music is great and the bartenders are awesome. They play a lot of 80s hits which I love. The bartenders here work exceptionally hard to make sure you have what you need. I’m definitely going to be coming back here.

Eh. I mean, I guess it’s what you expect from the outside. It doesn’t look like a good place for food, and my assumption proved correct. I had the Avocado burger which has cheese, pico de gallo, and(surprise) avocado. The avocado was hard though. Aka not fully ripe. Aka the ingredient that the burger was named after was the worst part about it. The fries were delicious though. And my friends ordered wings and hardly said a word while they were eating them so they must have been good. Also the atmosphere of this place is just kind of strange. It’s like you stepped into the remnants of an 80s party that no one bothered to pick up after. Why are there Andy Warhol prints everywhere? I’m a fan of Andy but isn’t this a sports bar? All I’m saying is you don’t go here for the vibe.

Reviewing to rave about William, the best bartender in the world. My boyfriend and I came for the ncaa games, and it was super busy. William was attentive, efficient, chill, and friendly without being annoying or too in your business. We loved him! The beer selection is solid, music is a great mix, and wings were the bomb. The atmosphere was super chill and fun. Would definitely come back!

What appeared to be a RAT ran across the floor when my husband and I were in for drinks. Coupled with the same four 80s greatest hits cds being played on loop, this place is a nightmare.

My experience was a little different cause I’m sure it wasn’t the normal crowd or atmosphere. I was on a bar crawl going from Jack and Gingers to Happy Village, to Inn Joy, and final destination The Double Door with performance by Rich Medina. This was our last bar before Double Door. This place was pretty huge and the music was good. By this point we were starving and pretty much ordered every appetizer you could think of with our new found friends. Wings, jalepeno poppers, fries, spinach dip, and of course more vodka. Not sure what the music is normally like but they play’d ratchet music for us…“I’m in love with the Cocoa…” Lol good times :)

If you love 80s and early 90s music, this is the spot for you. Personally, I wanted to douse myself in gasoline and jump into a bonfire. Not the scene I was looking for. The only time I felt any sense of serenity was when a remix of Jay-Z’s ’99 Problems’ came on. The layout is nice for a small bar. People super friendly. The downstairs was quieter and more intimate. DJ was super friendly and open to taking song requests and giving shout outs(He gave my friend a shout out for his birthday). This was more of a «feel good» bar than a «let’s get rowdy» type of place.

Standard greeting at the door: «Enjoy Innjoy!» This place is exactly as tacky as the greeting would suggest. Christmas lights and TVs playing sports are the dominant décor. Came here for a 90s themed night and found the music to be a bit too loosely interpretive. No, 80s is not 90s. Early 2000s is not 90s. Nevertheless, much dancing occurred and so a good time was had by all.

I went to 80/90s night on Saturday the music was great, the bartenders and DJ were awesome. Nice atmosphere, good crowd. Gets packed before 10pm, they have an upstairs and downstairs area. They have music videos to go with the music upstairs. They have have screens downstairs but no music videos it would have been nice if they played downstairs too. I will defiantly return to this place!

Stopped in here on an early Sunday evening, early for a reservation kitty-corner from here at Folklore. I also needed a place to pull out my laptop and charge my cellphone, as these first-world problems evolve. I only had a Jack on the rocks, which isn’t a tough poor. But the witty, gorgeous, Persian-Irish bartender was a joy to chat with for a while, rather than moping about the New York Times stories I was reading on my phone. Turns out that it was the calm before the storm of a Bears game. I’m not sure if I can predict another quiet night with Jack and Ms. Persian-Irish, but if I could, I’d go out of my way to hang out for a while. And be Innjoy once more.

Innjoy was intended on being a space for a surprise birthday party. After spending 2 weeks going back and forth with the event planner. We had settled on Saturday evening at 9:00PM at the cost of $ 50.00. Because it was supposed to be a surprise birthday party, I thought it would good to ensure quick entry for friends. This included fast track entry for friends and to reserve two table tops. I came to find out through friends who got there that no list with the party name was presented nor were any tables reserved. Because no list existed, friends who arrived later(around 10:30) had to wait 30 + minutes in line. All in all the party still went on and we had a good time. We are all mid-30 somethings and so the scene itself was a bit of a stretch. Good 80’s music selection, although it seemed like they only had 3 or 4CD’s worth of Prince, Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston and Fine Young Cannibals. Great artists to loop through but maybe was hoping for more. Also, the space was very tight, your proverbial«nuts to butts» type of scene. 1 star for 80’s music and another star for decent prices on drinks.

So this is just a seldom review about a particular visit I had here. Doesn’t mean the place as a whole isn’t better than 2 stars, but this night it was. So I went there on a Friday and sat at the patio. Seemed like there was only 1 waitress working for the whole building. Came up to us asked for drinks and saying the special was $ 4 Dos Equis tall and half off apps until 9pm. This threw me off since it was already 9:20ish. After she came back with the beers, I asked if the apps deal still worked. She still gave it to me and just said she lost track of time. So that’s fine, just seemed like she may have been over worked or flustered. Anyway, put and order in for the combo platter. Took forever to come out and on top of that, it was just meh, generic food pretty much. Potato skins were all right, jalapeño poppers were pretty good, but the waffle fries and onion rings I was not too fond of. So we finished out beers and the waitress hadn’t come back in a while but we can see her inside, so maybe it was just because we were on the patio. We decided to not get another round due to the slow service and just asked for the check. That took a little while again to come back, and when she finally did, the app was still full price on there. So instead of waiting, I had to go in and find her so that i could get that price changed. Ended up just paying cash since who knows how long it would have taken if i tried to pay card. I will say I’m a fan of the music though. It was like 90s stuff on a Friday night. I’ll probably come back for that alone, but more likely just head to the bar on my own.

I came here randomly with my coworkers. We were walking down Division looking for something to eat and walked by this place. We saw they had some specials so we came in. One of my coworkers got the nachos($ 7), the other one got a deal which included a personal pizza and a drink(I want to say it was like $ 6/7ish?). She also got some onion rings($ 4 — half off on Wednesdays). I got the fish and chips($ 9). The pricing was decent and pretty much worth what we got, but I’m not sure how much that’s saying since the food was just alright. I guess you get what you pay for, but it was also kind of like bar food, so you can’t ask for much from a bar. Our server was also the bartender, even though we sat at a table. He was nice and friendly. Overall, an okay experience, but I don’t think I’ll be back too soon.

Such a fun bar! I’ve been there on Friday and Saturday nights and had a great time each night. The music is great and the drinks are strong. There’s usually good drink specials too. I love that the crowd is eclectic and not pretentious, you can dress up or dress down and fit right in. There’s a lot of dancing, smiles and laughter had by all. It does get very crowded; there’s usually a line after 11, but it’s worth the wait.

I often find myself wondering what the difference is between a known serial killer and a Hipster? Once MOvember comes around, and the hipsters start growing their beards, they all begin to look a lot like serial killers and this makes dating ten times harder. Why you say? Well I can’t tell if the dude with a beard, glasses, flannel button downs, and lightly rolled Levi’s is staring at me & too embarrassed to make a move, or plotting how to get me into his unmarked white van on the corner. I’m serious, how do you know? What would I tell myself if I made the mistake of hitting on the serial killer thinking he was coming onto me? If he didn’t kill me first, I’d probably have to jump off a bridge. Regardless of the countless hipsters at Innjoy, you’ll be sure to have yourself a good time kicking it old school with 90’s music videos and dancing the night away.
