Yeah, no boo. Bye. Issues is just what youll leave with. Wow, where do I start? I booked(what I thought was) an appointment with Midge about a week in advance. She texted me and told me to send her a text reminder about the appointment on the day of. I did. I was like«Hi Midge! Just texting to remind you about my appointment today after work…» Her response«It’s not an appointment you’re walking in.» WHA?! Strike 1. I get there and she gives me the once over. My immediate first impression was that she was not personable, to say the very least. Strike 2. She was doing someone else’s hair when I walked in. She called me over and asked me what I was having done. I reminded her what I was having done and she directed me to go to the back of the shop and ask for Tria. I did. I sat in the back while Tria relaxed two other customers’ hair. She finally got to me. She relaxed me, wrapped me, and put me under the dryer — mind you this is all BEFORE midge cut my hair. Seemed ass backwards to me, but I figured they’re the experts. As I’m sitting there, Midge walked in several times and acted like I wasn’t even there. To me, it seemed like she was passing me off to Tria, and I was cool with that because at least Tria was personable. After about an hour under the dryer, however, to my surprise, Tria said goodbye to everyone and told me that Midge would get me together. Something like 20 minutes later Midge beckons me to her chair. I was the last customer in the shop, so of course she was rushing. I showed her a picture(see attached) and when i got out of the chair I realized that she basically did what SHEWANTED, as the style she gave me was NOTHING like what I asked for. In fact, I SPECIFICALLYSAIDNOBUMPERCURLS. OMG. I find it really unprofessional for a stylist to go rouge on a client they just met. First impressions are everything, and she just RUINED my impression of her. Will never return because for one, I don’t do rouge stylists; and two, I don’t do stylists with attitudes or who are otherwise not personable. Bye Felicia. You lost a potential customer in me hun with your cocky attitude, lack of professionalism, and the rush job you did on my hair. I actually went in with a full head of hair and she cut WAY too low on the sides, so much so that now I have to wait a couple months for it to fill back in. SMDH.

Not open on Mondays. Whenever I want to go in she’s always busy. Or it’s never a good time. I’ve gone elsewhere where my time is more appreciated.

The best salon in the city of Chicago. Very classy and professional love it here. Newly remodeled and it’s even more comfortable and beautiful. If you want a nice cut or style from short to long this is the best place.
