I really enjoy this dental group. It’s small and personably. It’s great that my dentist, Dr. Saffold remembers details that we discussed 6 months ago. I spoke to another patient and he agreed! He has patients of all ages. He is also very honest in regards to needed procedures and works with scheduled and budgets to ensure that you are able to get necessary work completed. His administrative assistant Nancy is sweet as well. I recommend this practice!!!

Worst practice ever. My appointment time was 3pm. I arrived at 2:55 didn’t get taken back till 4pm, didn’t have anything done to my teeth until 4:45pm. Time management is clearly something they lack. I will never come back to this practice ever in life.

I, like David B., have had the pleasure(yes you read that right) of having Dr. Saffold as my dentist. Uncomparable bedside manner and his receptionist is adorable! Thanks Dr. Saffold! I will be making me bi-annual cleaning appointments from here on out! I no longer dread my trips to the dentist. Super gentle and fast too!!!

I really can’t say how privileged I feel to have had Dr. Saffold as my dentist through J J Mitchell’s office. It has been a few years since I moved away, and I feel compelled to express my gratitude. I had a nightmare tooth that needed a root canal and crown, but so much had broken off that it was unclear whether that would be possible. The specialists didn’t want to touch me, or tried to upsell me for an implant. He patiently laid out the options: implant, crown, or extraction, and didn’t try to sugar-coat it. In fact, he tried to steer me toward the cheapest option, an extraction, which was eventually what became necessary. But along the way, I think I saw him something like nine times, as he adjusted or remade my temporary filling or took better moldings for the crown. He was always patient, and didn’t charge me for visits that were necessary follow-ups of previous visits. Let me stress that this is not something that I think any other dentist would have done a better job with. Most of my tooth was gone. The endodontist I was referred to just assumed I would come back for an implant. MORETHANANYTHING, I’ll say that my observation in this office was that they had a deep respect and compassion for lower income patients. As far as I could tell, they accepted every insurer anyone could think of.(When mine sent me an invoice, the office let me know not to worry about it; that forms were being re-sent, and that it would be taken care of in time.) And when I looked at the invoices, they were unrealistically low. Many of my visits would have been affordable without any insurance, and I sense that this is intentional. I don’t know how I found this dentist, and I don’t expect to find another like him wherever I end up.
