Amazing General Tso’s Chicken and spectacular Jumbo Shrimp. Everything tasted very fresh and you can tell that the quality of the food is a step above your typical Chinese lunch fare. Maybe you save a dollar somewhere else, but if you are in the neighborhood, this place wins on quality.

The food wasn’t bad but wasn’t great either. I would say it’s pretty standard «Chinese» food. What annoyed me was that it seemed expensive– my lunch special cost $ 8.95. Also, it seemed a little shady, like they charge whatever they feel like charging because they don’t give receipts and the menu listed the lunch specials as $ 7.47. Anyway, I founf another place nearby today (China Shack) that has lunch specials for $ 6.00 (total) and I will be ordering from there from now on. The food is exactly the same quality and I don’t feel like I’m getting ripped off.

I’m working out of a different office today in Little Village– and looking forward to some good Mexican for lunch– I was disappointed (but not too surprised) to hear that the normal staff her is sick of eating Mexican every day of the week for lunch– so they choose this place– which is only about 2 blocks away.
The staff in the office today is busy (and lazy) and calls up a good size order for delivery and is informed that they have recently doubled their delivery charge because, in the words of the woman over the phone: «these PEOPLE around here are too poor to tip properly.» We didn’t ask why the delivery charge was doubled– nor did we really want her to go out of her way to make a social critique on the fine people of this area– but we ordered anyway but with a quick change: pickup.
Food was even below your standard crappy Chinese takeout quality and the price was above that standard level as well.
Jade Palace– just want you to know that it is OK to make a business decision to up your delivery charge. Just don’t share WHY with anyone else that calls in– for that would not be a wise business decision.
