The food is fresh, affordable, and made on demand. As a patron my review is dedicated to the entire establishment. I give it 4 stars. When you visit ask for Mike. Hands down best service.

My smoothie was good, but my falafel was even better! Aziza was working the counter and was very nice!

My morning smoothie just didn’t cut it. Kale can only do so much.
I wanted something filling, cheap, warm and delicious and so I decided to stop by a bagel shop that’s inside the Ogilvie train station. After suggesting the jalapeño cheddar bagel and mentioning that all of their bagels are made fresh there every morning, the woman behind the counter expertly slathers on a healthy glob of cream cheese. The outside was just slightly crunchy but the inside was the perfect blend of thick yet soft bread that you only dream about. I’m not really from a bagel-​eating city (Dallas-we’re more of a breakfast taco kind of folk) so other than the very few bagels I’ve had (mostly store bought), I don’t have much to compare Jaffa’s bagel to. But even with that said, I was pleasantly surprised. And even though I pass by this place every morning, I never stopped because I kept thinking a bagel would run me $ 5. Again, I don’t have a lot of bagel experience but I was happy to report that it was $ 2 something. I shall return, bagel place!

Soooooooooo good! I’m so happy this place is in the same building as my job. Great smoothies and fresh squeezed juice.

Was gonna run into Dunkin across the street but so glad we didn’t. Bagel was super yummy and not hard to chew like some. And the juice is fresh squeezed!!! Lunch looks great too, need to come back on the trip home. And it’s right across from the Rock Island train station.

Had lunch here when in the loop for a meeting. Friendly service and really good food for a very reasonable price. Good spot.

This place has been my go to when I’m in that «I’m tired of everything downtown» mood. The best part of this place… everything is fresh and made to order! Plus if you ask for something extra on the side, such as hot sauce, a dollop of hummus, and or a spoon of rice, because you are indecisive like moi! They will throw some on your plate, no charge! From the tender chicken kabobs, to the juicy turkey sandwich this place has a great selection that is wayyy delicious!

Muffins that melt in your mouth every morning followed by a roast turkey sammich served in a pita. Jaffa Bagels is the bees knees! This place is a hidden gem in the loop. Always hits the spot. Simple, clean and delicious… I am a fan.

Writing an update because I go here that often. Mike and Cesar are great. They know me by name and by order. They are always willing to customize. I love the chicken shawarma and the smoothies and juices are A+. I wish I wasn’t gluten and dairy free because those breakfast sandwiches look so, so good.

Michael and Cesar do a knock out job, everything always fresh, they work hard and are very friendly whenever I drop in…

Delicious turkey plates and wonderful falafel sandwiches are among the mouth watering items that bring me back time after time. Don’t miss the fantastic favors!

Literally the most fantastic bagels in Chicago. Maybe the most fantastic I’ve ever had?!? That’s bold but the everything bagel that I’m literally eating as I type this is super fresh, topped with some super amazing veggie cream cheese. Usually I prefer toasted bagels, but seriously this is so fresh there is no need. Definitely, definitely eating here again. Maybe every Friday for the rest of my life?

I really love the bagels here, they are amazing. I’m from the East Coast, so I am super picky about bagels, and they nail it. I’ve been here countless times, and I’m sad to be leaving a job that’s basically right next door because it will mean no more delicious jalapeño bagel lunches from Jaffa.
One star off because usually when I go for lunch, the toaster is turned off and they don’t want to turn it back on.

I tried this place twice. Pretty good experiences both times. I had the turkey sandwich the first time, which is by far the most popular item (probably due to the cranberry sauce) but what really stood out to me was the salad I had the second time. I didn’t exactly follow the menu, I just asked for a large salad and then the guy put anything I wanted on there (including hummus and cranberry sauce). This turned out to be better for me than ordering a sandwich. Super healthy and delicious.

I woke up starving but with no time to eat before heading to work, and Jaffa’s $ 7 lox sandwich really made my morning. It comes with a generous serving of smoked salmon, and your choice of cream cheese, veggies, and bagel. The pumpernickel bagel was pretty darn good. I’ll definitely hit them up again when my semi-​regular craving for smoked salmon hits me.

Yeah buddy. At work Im a part of the elite «bagel club»… Which means that our fellow group members scarf down tasty carbs on Fridays. We choose to go here because the bagels are fantastic. Even if you dont like bagels, you can buy a tub of cream cheese on demand. How badass is that? They make their own cream cheese. Oh and turkey bacon. Badass, luscious, tasty turkey bacon.
The staff here is awesome. Always polite and very friendly. I had the pleasure to meet the owner today, who was also very friendly, energetic and polite. Would definitely recommend this place to people who like bagels, which is everyone.
Oh and they cater, so call these dudes up and have them feed you some delicious carbs.

Great breakfast sandwiches with simple ingredients. This place is part of my rotation.
The freshly squeezed juice selections have gone down from their opening, but still an option. The fruit salad is quite generous for the price downtown.
Overall, Jaffa is pretty good!

I had a bad experience here. I ordered on grubhub, and I walked over there a little early. When I arrived, they did not receive my order in their system.
The manager in a cadillac sweater, I think his name is Mehdi, had a talking with me. He reprimended me for ordering from grubhub. He said it is not worth it. I should just walk in the store and order. The line is short anyway.
He didn’t seem to care about my order at all. He was more concerned with the issue with grubhub and getting a receipt from me.
Also I ordered a chocolate croissant and they didn’t have it. He made me get a bagel sandwich, and they put nasty processed cheese on it! The bagel was tasty, but nothing extraordinary. I also got a strawberry smoothie and it was unusually sweet for a smoothie. It might as well have been a milkshake based upon the sweetness.
Needless to say, I will not being coming back here! No thanks!

The place is hidden gems and a long list of «things you should know before ordering». Add to the list the Chicken Kabobs. I didn’t want starchy sides and occasionally get tired of the veggies. A LA CARTE kabobs is what to ask for. $ 1.95 each! 3 is nice and filling, delicious seasoned chicken breast, perfectly roasted peppers, onions, and zucchini.
