My first time trying Jamba Juice. An ex’s of mine and a good friend use to love this place. I was online and they were giving $ 3.00 off if you signed up. I was like ok let me see what the Big Deal is about these smoothies. After I ate my lunch at work I went down to the food court where there is a Jamba Juice. I was so undecided of what to get because the menu had so many flavors that I wanted to try out I decide on this new flavor of the summer with lime and other fruity stuff. To my surprise it was good. I look forward to using my taste buds on other flavors soon. Just mention a coupon and I will try it out for the first time. O yes and great customer service is always a plus in my book

The service is spotty. I’ve had people jump up with a smile to serve me quickly(please do! I have a train to catch and I’m invariably running late!), and I’ve had a guy flirting with a woman he was working with, her losing focus on what she was there to do. On the other hand, location, location, location. The place is a convenient way to get my five servings of fruit and/or vegees to go, because it’s a long ride out to where I’m going. It ain’t cheap, but if I have to go out to the ‘burbs and back, I’m probably not going to be cooking any spinach or carrots when I get home. I primarily get the fruit-only smoothies, though the oatmeal isn’t bad either and the cup is adequate for using to eat on the train. But I’ve got to be truthful to you, faithful readers: I’m more-likely to get my fruit at Union Station from the Corner Bakery across the hall. I may not get my 5 servings(or even 1⁄10th of a serving), and all the vitamins and fiber may be singed out of them… But coffee remains at the top of the food pyramid for me. More consistent service would bring this up to a 4, but spotty is never a good adjective for a place with a kitchen.

I occasionally travel through Union Station & almost always pick up a Jamba Juice. Yesterday, around 4:00 in the afternoon, I stopped & ordered a small Mango-a-go-go, which costs $ 4.29 without tax. I was pretty surprised when the guy working the register told me the drink cost $ 5 even(he had seen me count out 5 one dollar bills) I questioned the amount, especially since I’ve worked for over 30 years detecting financial crimes & it was pretty easy to figure out that, even with Chicago sales tax included, my drink was less than $ 5(although it was only a small amount of change, I really didn’t feel like being jerked around by this guy). I questioned the amount again, and he again said my drink was $ 5 even. I insisted on a receipt and that’s when I noticed he hadn’t even rung the drink up in the register(it appeared that, along with trying to rip me off, this guy might be trying to also rip-off Jamba Juice since my money never made into the register until I insisted that I get a receipt). The guy withdrew my ones from somewhere behind the counter, finally rang up my drink, gave me my receipt and the change that he owed me. The whole situation was really disturbing & creepy. I certainly won’t be buying any Jamba Juice anytime in the near future, and certainly never again at the Union Station Jamba Juice!

Most of the guys that work here are pretty friendly and polite. There’s this one guy however, who always acts strange and borderline rude. Today he didn’t give me my change and walked away mumbling. Then he held my drink up over his head so I had to reach for it. I don’t want passive aggressive weirdos making my food so I’m done with this location.

It’s a Jamba Juice so you can get all the delicious smoothies and juices that you come to know and love. The main attraction of this location is that it is in the lower level of union station so you can grab a smoothie for the train. Just a walk up location next in the food court area allows for you to grab a few options and get off to your train.

I mean, it’s a Jamba Juice. You know what you’re getting. I do give props, though, to this location in the basement of Union Station, for always having the friendliest employees EVER. Keep it up, team.

Had some time to kill before catching a late train last night, and in the hopes of a healthy dinner option I found my way to Jamba Juice, arriving just at 8pm — closing time. They’d cashed out the registers and were already cleaning up, but said that if I could pay with a credit card they could still whip something up for me. They were all really friendly and didn’t seem the least bit put out by my last-minute Smokehouse Chicken flatbread and light Pomegranate Pick-Me-Up smoothie request. Days like this I lament the rise of the credit card, which has left me less likely to carry cash for leaving tips, but I found a buck or so in change to drop in the jar. After thanking them all profusely, I assured them I’d return, which I definitely will … and next time I’ll be ready with more tip money in anticipation of excellent service.

I’m a Jamba Juice Junkie. When I have to wait between trains, I rush over to this Jamba Juice and order a smoothie and my day is already better. HOWEVER, while the smoothies are good, they’re just not as good as other locations. I can’t really explain why, but I’ve never gotten that«MMMM!» sensation from this location. And my last smoothie(Peach Pleasure) tasted too much like a mushy version of orange juice. The people are friendly though, and service is quick. The lines are hardly ever long — probably because of the speedy service!

Favorite Jamba Juice ever. There is always a large group of people waiting off to the side for their smoothies, which always scares me into thinking there’s a long wait, and I may not need that smoothie after all. But I do need that smoothie, so I go anyway. Even though there’s tons of people, I’ve never waited more than five minutes. The workers are always super friendly and talk to the customers, but it doesn’t slow them down or get in the way of them doing their work. Plus, whenever I ask for the recipes to be changed, they never pause or give me weird/angry looks; they just do it how I want, no questions asked. Also, unlike other Jamba Juice locations, their blenders work. I don’t get large chunks of fruit and ice, but an actual smoothie. Yum.

Often overlooked because of its location in Union Station, this Jamba has the same stuff as all the others, minus the lines. Fresh fruit juice or smoothies — cannot go wrong.
