This place is a hit or miss. I could go in one day and have the workers here super attentive and helpful and then other days you can stand right at the front waiting to be helped for 10 mins. Before anyone even says one word to you, no hi someone will be with you or anything almost like you are totally invisible. This sometimes makes me really hate spending money at this place but I believe in giving places chances so Ill see how it goes in future visits. This place should always treat their customers the same way with great service not depending on the day you go there.

After going to VCG, Tri-​Taylor, The Cop Shop, and AJ. This is finally the place. Their experience and professionalism is second to none. They are always in stock and accommodate your needs. Their shop is extremely clean and you are always met with a warm greeting upon entering as opposed to other stores (like the aforementioned above) where they completely ignore you if you’re not a regular that’s been going there for 20+ years. They make a lot of their products in house and have several full time seamstresses who actually do quality work. They hem your pants properly so you look professional and their prices are very reasonable. They don’t sell cheap stuff that breaks or falls apart and they’re super polite. JG is the class of uniform stores. Highly recommend no matter where you live or how far you have to drive!

The customer service is nice but so are most other places willing to take your money. I feel most of their products are well overpriced and marked up. Check out Amazon before shopping at the uniform stores in Chicago. It will pay off. Unfortunately J&G like most other uniform shops really rip the new recruits off. People who aren’t making much to begin with and now someone else is putting their hands in there to get a big chunk!

JG Uniforms sets the platinum standard in the Chicagoland area for Law Enforcement uniform stores. Hands down they have the best customer service in the business. After being in Law Enforcement for nearly 20 years I’ve shopped everywhere and now I only shop at JG. They have earned my business! They have worked with me to deliver items when I’ve needed them in a hurry, they have altered or replaced velcro straps & patches, (sometimes while I wait) and always at a reasonable price! They are a family business and that is reflected in how they treat their customers and the top notch quality of their product. I highly recommend JG to every LEO and recruit out there! JG Uniform’s gear takes the everyday abuse that I need my gear to take.
