I took a dress and a blouse there to be dry cleaned. First they told me they couldn’t find it when I went to pick it up, then said it had already been picked up by someone??? After a few minutes and the worst customer service I’ve ever received, my clothes magically appeared, dirtier than I when I left them there. This place is disgusting. Do yourself a favor and go anywhere else.

Live closer to Division, but thought that the reviews for Jiffy were best for the neighborhood. Even with the 15 minute walk with my heavy cart, I was really pleased with the service. I dropped my items off at about 4:45pm and the gentleman told me they’d be ready by 7:00pm. They are cash only(but with an ATM next door), and it was about $ 36 for A LOT of laundry. Like a cart’s worth and more. Everything was super clean and folded so nicely that it’s not wrinkling at all. Definitely will be going back, even though there are 2 others that are closer! The actual laundromat looked really clean too, and wasn’t too crowded when I went on the Saturday at 5pm and at 7:30pm.

As far as laundromats go, this is pretty nice! 3 sizes of machines($ 1.50 for an 18 lb load, which is equivalent to a single load in a house washer. $ 3.00 for a 35 lb load(2 household loads) $ 3.50 for a giant 50 lb load). They sell supplies at the window and are very helpful. A machine ate my quarters and they fixed the issue right away. Go early, especially on Sundays because it gets super crowded and whole families will occupy a whole row of machines. Also, the parking lot in the back is fuggin’ awesome!

This place was great! Came on a Saturday around noon and was expecting a crowd but it was very easy to find a washer and dryer because they have so many of them! I live a few blocks away so it wasn’t much of a drive for me. Parking was easy enough(directly next to the place). It was my first time not only at this laundromat, but any for that matter. Easy to use and the lady working there was super nice. Clothes came out so fresh n so clean clean. Very happy with Jiffy!

Great laundromat — clean and well maintained machines. The only reason they don’t get 5 stars is because they don’t have wifi. Other than that, I love this place!

I’ve gone here 3 times since i moved to the city. It is never crowded in here and the prices are reasonable. $ 3.50 for the giant 50 lb washer and 25 cents for 12 minutes of drying. The lady that works there is so nice and helped me carry my clothes to my car. Oh and there is parking in the back.

If you have a car and you’re a Chicago renter, I can’t imagine why you wouldn’t be using a laundromat. And if you live in the UV, then I don’t know why you aren’t using THIS place. I can always get a washer and a dryer, the equipment seems to be kept up well, and the 50-lb. $ 3 washers are awesome. I have done about eight loads of laundry in less than two hours, and it probably cost me about $ 15.

This review is for their dry cleaning that is GOD awful. I took a Trina Turk blouse there(it was white and over $ 100) and it came back with a pen stain on it. Awesome. I took it back and asked them to get it out. I just picked it up Friday and what do ya know. the pen stain was still there. I asked her about it and all she could say was«I don’t know how that got there». The real kicker was I still had to pay for the dry cleaning to correct their mistale. When I came home I was hanging up the rest of my clothes and saw a small dirt stain on another white sweater I had brought there. They also hung a loose fitting sweater on a hanger instead of pinning it(the professional thing to do) and it had those awkward hanger marks on the shoulders. I’m so annoyed that I paid $ 20 bucks for such crappy work. We won’t be back… ever. My mistake for going back there a second time!

I’ve lived 3 blocks away for over 13 years and finally took advantage of their drop off service this year. I love it! my clothes and bedding are ready to be picked up in a few hours, allowing me to be productive with my day. They’re open late so I can even drop off stuff in the morning, go to work and get my clean, folded stuff back after work. It usually costs me 10 – 15 bucks to drop off 2 weeks worth of clothes… totally worth it!

Clean, not crowded, and affordable! The giant washers are $ 3 but clean an enormous load, up to 50lbs! Very much pleased!

Took a pair of pants and a shirt here to be dry cleaned. The button was falling off of my khakis so I asked if they could sew it back on. The lady working there said they don’t do any alterations. When I got them back, the button was fixed. That’s five star service to me. Also gotta say thanks for the heads up on parking in the back.

I needed to do laundry badly! The dryer in my building is disconnected because my landlord sucks so I needed a laundromat. Thanks to Amanda C’s review I figure I would give this place a shot. It’s maybe about 4 blocks from my apartment, pretty close. Love it. I washed three loads of laundry at $ 1.25 a load and to dry it cost me .50 each load. A little packed while I was there but I was able to find myself a cart and a little nook to fold my clothes. I was out of there in less than hour and a half. For those of you who have a lot of clothes and need to drive there is a parking lot in back and a back door that you can bring your clothes thru. This way you dont have to pay for parking in front on Chicago Ave.

Unilocal confession time: I enjoy doing laundry. Yep, I like the smell of my fresh clean clothes, I like folding them while they’re warm(ya know, to keep away the wrinkles), and I can even fold a mean fitted sheet(thanks, Mom!) So when I moved into the third floor of a building with only one washer and one dryer in the basement of a three story building, I knew my love for the clothes washing might be tainted due to unfortunate circumstances. Hooray, Jiffy Wash to the rescue! A few short blocks away, my oasis exists. Plenty of standard-sized washers($ 1.25 a wash), medium washers($ 2.50 a wash) and mega-washers($ 3.00 a wash). I was able to wash three loads of laundry at the same time without waiting during prime time, catch a really fantastic Telemundo show, proceed to the dryers and be done in an hour and a half. Dryers are $.25 per 12 minutes, if only cost me about $.50 a load to dry… nice! While I was there, the employee was constantly cleaning off the tops of the machines, which was good to see. You can purchase laundry soap there, and there is a quarter machine. And, if you hate laundry, you can drop it off at $.70 a pound. Everyone wins! Disclaimer: I only like to do my own laundry. So no, I don’t love it enough to do yours.
