I’m a new biker and had them make some repairs on my old schwinn. Cheaper than other places that had quoted me, speedy service and friendly staff. I’ll be back! Thanks guys!

My wife and I went in looking for a new bike for her. They do not have a large number of bikes on display, but the guy showed us a few examples that match the style of biking she intends to do. She’s very short (5 ’) and so bike size was a big issue to overcome. He was very knowledgeable and did not try to sell us more bike than she needed. He asked us what our budget was and worked with us on some possibilities. We were able to select a bike that’s perfect for her. I was so impressed that I ordered a second bike for me.
Fast forward to yesterday, having ordered two bikes we went in and they were waiting for us assembled (with accessories) and we were on our way within minutes. We get a free tune up in the first year and free adjustments (cables, brakes, derailleurs, etc) for 2 years.
We love the new bikes. These guys made the bike buying process easy and pleasant.

I recently went in to have a chain replaced. They were able to give me a very honest quote over the phone and answer all of my questions. I went into the store and the workers were all very friendly and serviced my bike right away. It didn’t take more than 15 minutes. The mechanic who worked on my bike was even nice enough to show me what exactly was wrong with the chain so that I could diagnose it in the future.

Top notch service. If you want the job done right, this is the spot. No attitude, fair prices, nice variety of products. My go-​to LBS.

We ride bikes simply for leisure and needed some general work – and a baby seat installed and had THE BEST experience with these guys. They understood our novice needs – made suggestions, yet were never pushy and always made us feel like we were as important as the guys buying the $ 1000+ bike. Our little guy LOVES his WeeRide seat and we feel comfortable knowing the experts installed it. Thanks so much!

I have been riding for a couple years now and keep returning to Johnny Sprockets for all my bicycle needs. I couldn’t afford a brand new bike when starting out, so I bought a used Raleigh in decent shape that needed some new parts and repairs. Phil took great care of the bike and told me what really needed doing and what could wait. He got me up and running the same day and for a very reasonable price.
Went back today with a minor issue and he took care of it in five minutes and didn’t charge. I will always give my bike business to these folks. Class act local business.

My go-​to place whenever I’ve banged up my bike pretty badly. These guys have saved my butt many many times.

Great group of guys. I’ve been going to this shop for four years now, and I always get excellent service. They never try to sell me something I don’t need.

W0W. HORRIBLE!!! DONT GO HERE. I live five blocks away from this shop. I have been putting in 6,000 miles a year on my bikes and have recently moved to Andersonville in Chicago. I strive to give my business to my local bike shop (LBS). # 1. I rode up to this shop 3 weeks ago at closing time to hopefully drop off my bike for repairs. I didn’t care when the job got done I just wanted to have it fixed. (Some new shift cables and brake adjustments). I was told that I needed an appointment. So I set up an appointment (Seriously, Work Order #34 300) to bring in the bikes (2) on August 18^th. # 2. On that day we were short of staff at work s o I CALLED the shop to let them know I would not be able to bring in the bikes. They said to bring them in as soon as I could.
Today, August 24, I walk BOTH bikes over to this shop to drop them off for repairs. I was told NO, I WOULD HAVE TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT
AND BRING THEM BACK!!! OMG!!! Is the bike shop business really this good that you can turn down business TWICE???

Best bike shop around. I’ve been to several shops in the area as well as the burbs and this shop is by far the best. Great customer service and great advice. They always give good advice for your bike. They never try to upsell me. Their waranty and customer service is the best around. My favorite bike shop. Also they sell the best stuff around. Best bikes and accessories. Always have what I need and more.

Great guys, very helpful and polite! They helped me get my bike ready for summer riding and showed me how to oil my gears.
