Best cheeseburgers. Too bad they don’t open at dinner time, otherwise I’ll be getting from them three meals a day!

I ate here a billion times and it’s very consistent time and time again. I normally order either breakfast or lunch and sometimes both at work. Its kind of hidden in the middle of nowhere, but the businesses and people in the traits eat here constantly because it’s one of few diners in the neighborhood that is edible without making someone second guess afterwards why they ate what they ate.
The staff is very nice, and the parking is available right in front.

First of all, free parking! That in itself earned an extra star!
Second visit to this place for breakfast. I’ve had the breakfast burrito with sausage and today, the Spanish sandwich. The sandwich is my favorite. It’s a ham egg and cheese sandwich with green peppers and jalapeño peppers. I also like their Mexican breakfast which is refried beans and corn tortillas with eggs and chorizo. I substitute ham for the chorizo. They’re very flexible and everything is made to order. Very fresh, and fairly cheap. Lots of sun on this corner makes this an excellent place to sit and relax. People are friendly here too.

The reason I give this place two stars is that it is a little over priced for fast food eggs. They also only have styrofoam plates. Terrible for environment. And plastic forks. If I’m going to pay for food I want to eat off a real fork

I love this place! Great for breakfast, never had their lunch. Killer iced coffee and egg sandwiches. The owner is nice and the staff are super friendly.

This place just seems amazing. waiting on Corona Battered Cod. The menu is awesome. Anything from smoothies to ribeye sandwich, italian beef to spinach salad, deli to breakfast burritos. I saw images of breakfast burritos from other Unilocalers and they look amazing. I will probably try this place again over the weekend if I am out there working again. It was difficult to choose an item on the extensive menu. They have homemade soup, chili, and smoothies with no sugar or syrups added. fresh squeezed juice. Cant wait for the cod

Don’t get the Gyros. Dry, food looked 2 days old. Very little meat. And way over priced. No more for me

They have parking, which goes a long way in the city.
Very very very bland steak sangwich. Burger was good. Could’ve been a bit more generous with the cheese on the cheese fries. Could’ve been more generous with the fries also. Disappointed. Spent $ 23 for both of us and left hungry and dissatisfied.

Super friendly staff and owners, best deal on fresh juice in town. Love this place!

Went here based on Unilocalers & was not disappointed. Drive past all of the time but never stopped. Hubby & I both enjoyed our food. Will be back.

I must say I pass by this place quite often on the way to work or just hopping on the expressway. So I decided to try this place out; I ordered their breakfast burrito w/​spicy salsa and I must say it is probably the best breakfast burrito I’ve had so far. It was healthy and delicious; I’ve yet to try everything on the menu but their will definitely be a next time for sure!

Very yummy and reasonably priced. I ordered an Italian beef sandwich with cheddar cheese and fries. Their rosemary chicken special looked very tasty as well. The employees are nice and they don’t try to rush you out the door. The reason why I didn’t give all 5 stars is because their high chairs were very dirty and sticky. I had to sit my two year old in that.

Found this gem on our way home from China Town… glad we did as it was really good. We had hot dogs w/​fries but the winner was their Chili. VERY good in fact
so good I took some home for the next day and it was even better. Very nice and
friendly staff, very clean and a nice place to go for casual and inexpensive food. They also serve breakfast and I think we’ll try that next. Check them out… can’t wait to go back.

You can’t complain about much from here, except the weird hours and the fact that there’s lots of cops and city workers they frequent the place.

Unilocalers never disappoint !
I was looking for a place near me to have breakfast. After asking Suri, this place popped up. I used the link provided to look at the Unilocal reviews and I was sold.
It was close, had parking, and got great reviews. They did not disappoint. A slogan seen on the building says «good food fast» and they were right. You look at the menu overhead and order. Once your order comes up you are called to the counter to get your tray and go sit down. I sat at the counter overlooking canal port and 18^th street.
This place is true chicago neighborhood food at its best. Good, homemade and no fuss. They also have a healthy choice menu with stuff like grilled chicken that looked great. I was also very taken by their veggie juice menu. I had a beet, apple and orange juice drink which was fresh and bended on the spot. Fantastic. Sure, I could get a juicer and do this at home, but why should I when I can get it here ?
I had pancakes, hash browns and bacon. Yummy. The folks inside are a fantastic mix of race and ethnicity all enjoying great food on this place that is easy to find and great.

Great place for consistently well made diner food. Place is clean and staff friendly. I especially love their cheeseburger and my wife likes the chicken wrap.

I live down the street from this place and go there every morning for my cup of JOE and omelet! It is one of the few dinners that has a small town feeling in such a large city like Chicago. I highly recommmend this place!

This is one hell of a hidden jem. Hard to find but well worth the search. Great fish special. excellent gyros, and things like that. Nice little parking lot. Near chinatown

I’ve been coming to Ken-Tone’s for years–
A ‘neighborhood ’ kind of place.
It’s a step up on fast food, because they offer more than just Burgers, Hot dogs & fries. The soup and salads are very good. The breakfast burrito is huge but pricey. Can’t go wrong with the steak tacos here.
If you can’t park in the lot, you can usually park on street close by.

Looks like a new place. Clean and well put together.
Food is good too! Only problem is that there’s not enough. It’s smaller portions and a bit pricey.
My work partner and I usually order fries to share but not when we come here. We have to order our own because the portions are smaller. It’s alright though because the food is fresh and we enjoy sitting down in a clean place.
Will for sure come back and try different items off of the menu.
