Ken has done extensive work for my wife and I and my two daughters.
He gutted our kitchen and remodeled from the studs in, re-​did three (3) bathrooms as well as fixing our family room after a water pipe broke, replaced all the interior doors and the front exterior, installed wood floors to our second floor, fans, electric baseboard heaters along with a fair amount of painting.
Ken is as personal a guy as you would ever want to me and a consummate professional. Great suggestions (especially for our kitchen) and great work. Doesn’t leave without cleaning up. I trust Ken enough to give him a key to my house or the code to our garage door opener.
Working alone or with his crew (who by the way are also great), the end result is always more than you expected.
The prices for his work is very reasonable.
I cannot recommend Ken strongly enough. Just wish I had more work for him to do around our house.

Ken can do it all! He’s a remodeler and all-​around handyman that can do just about anything you may need. And if he can’t, he knows someone who can, for a good price. He’s done many personal and professional projects for me, including a bathroom remodel and tiling, kitchen remodel, drywall repair and plasma TV wiring and wall installation. Super nice guy and I’ve yet to find someone that can beat his price.

I have been using KF Contracting for various remodeling jobs in my house since 2005. I had used other contractors in the years prior and was never completely happy with their work. Using KF Contracting, I have had my kitchen completely gutted and redone, 2 bathrooms, a laundry room and a basement bedroom. I can always count on Ken to take a look at the ideas that my wife and I have and then make suggestions based on the work he has done in other homes. I don’t always choose that options that he presents, but I like knowing that there are different ways to attack a given problem. Ken also does not come back with an answer off the cuff. Many times he needs to take some measurements and come back with an answer the next day after he has thought about the detail a bit.
KF Contracting’s prices are very fair and since we have worked together on so many rooms in my house, I don’t even bother trying to get a quote from another contractor unless it is a type of job that Ken says is not in his wheelhouse.
We have 2 small kids, so we appreciate that job site is always cleaned up each night, minimizing the disruption that happen when you live in the house during a remodel.
