Nice people, decent food. Food is okay but they do give you a lot. Grew up in Chicago and always stop by this place when in midway airport. People do have to realize that this is airport food and not Chinatown. With that being said, decent food for airport food.

The most disgusting Chinese AND airport food I’ve ever had. Not to mention it caused me horrible indigestion and sulfur gas for two days. I hadn’t eaten anything that day yet and I regret going here. I hate to say this, but just go to McDonald’s. You know what you’re getting, so at least if you get diaherrea and sulfur gas, you aren’t surprised like I was. The only upside is that the customer service was excellent, but that doesn’t outweigh the blandness and overall disappointment of the food. Antacids can’t even cure what I ate.

I don’t think I would willingly eat here ever again. I know, it is airport Chinese food. I know it is not fresh cooked. I know it looked bad when I walked up to it. But the appeal of something Chinese-y overwhelmed my reasoning and I spent some hard earned moola on garbage. I ordered the Sweet and Sour chicken with the Fried Rice. S&S Chicken had huge chunks of meat, the ratio of meat to breading to sauce was all wrong. The consistency of the chicken was also wrong, it was not deep fried at the right temperature, I think it was taken out early. This is common in buffet type settings where it will then sit with a tray warmer for an hour to cook the rest of the way. It was cooked, but it wasn’t cooked properly. The sauce was thin and had zero flavour. Was more sweet than sour, but more disgusting than anything else. The fried rice was as described. Rice that had been fried. I didn’t see any real egg bits. The diced veggies were almost nonexistent and those that were present did not taste appealing. Total cost was under $ 10, so it is a steal if you can stomach eating quasi-food byproducts. I ate a few pieces and threw it away. Got some popcorn instead, and made some S&S Chicken at home when I arrived 4 hours later to satisfy the craving. I don’t know who King Wah was, but he would not be very happy with his legacy at the Chicago Midway airport…

Stay away! My orange chicken had a bone in it! The food is very bland and very expensive. No deserts. The drinks aren’t even cold. Need I say more?

Avoid avoid avoid avoid avoid avoid avoid avoid. The chicken and beef are of very low-quality, the seasoning is horrific I threw mine away and I almost never do that.

It’s airport food. I ordered a 2 item combo. Came out to about $ 8 – 9. Looks delicious, like your typical Chinese steam table restaurant food and I guess it’s acceptable. But, It was honestly THE most blandest Americanized Chinese food I have ever had. Not much soy or sweet or spicy flavoring at all to any of the items I ordered. Very mild in flavor.

Not sure the Chicken was Chicken or the Beef was related in any way to a cow. The noodles were mushy with the consistency of tapeworms. All was over cooked and broccoli and chicken? was too coarsely chopped. My niece has an unfriendly cat who is now getting warned to stay away(or maybe sold to) this ‘food?’ stall.

Tasteless bland food. Do not waste your money or your palate. Tofu flavorless. Chicken chewy.

I should have read the reviews before coming here because this place is just awful. The chicken was of poor quality and the sauce for the sesame chicken was just plain disgusting. The only reason the rice was edible was because I covered it with soy sauce. There are much better places to eat here and I would definitely avoid this place!

Worst Chinese food I’ve ever had. Took a couple bites and threw it out. Disgusting. Wish I checked Unilocal first, live and learn.

By far, the worst«Chinese» food I have ever consumed. I got the beef and broccoli and the beef was chewy, the carrots tasted like stewed carrots. Disgusting! Eat elsewhere!

Absolutely disgusting Chinese fast food. The worst part is is that I know it, but still choose to eat it. What is wrong with me? Let’s hope my body doesn’t explode on this flight… I got the small combo of fried rice and Kung pao chicken. Both absolutely garbage. Not even surprised. Just in a horrible mood and wanted something fast other than McDonald’s. But yea don’t go here unless you have that fuck it whatever i don’t care mentality.

All of their dishes looked like mush and service is terrible. Do not eat here. I ate here once, never again

Ya know… it’s pretty decent. Tasty, fast and one of the few places where you get your money’s worth in Midway’s food court. They serve a 1-item or 2-item selection, and include your choice of fried rice or chow mein noodles. If your flight is just a couple hours and need something to hold you over until you land & get real food, the 1-item should fill you up. It’s not gourmet, and let’s face it: You’re desperate for something. This isn’t my favorite Panda Express-style food, but it’ll do.

If I ever happen to be in this terminal in Chicago again, I will definitely not be eating at King Wah Express. The food actually looked pretty good while we were standing in line waiting to order, but when we sat down and started eating, we found that the chicken was all white meat and very dry. The food lacked enough flavor and I ended up eating barely half of what I ordered. I had to settle for a Ben & Jerrys waffle cone instead.

This was the worst food I’ve had in such a long time. How do you eff up tofu and fried rice? Everything seemed to taste weird. I’d have thrown it out if it wasn’t my last $ 10.

Yeah, not good. I got the $ 7.50 Kung Pao Chicken, which was about three pints of rice and some generally flavorless mush, except for the stray hot peppers that scorched my taste buds into ash. Airport food is usually a losing proposition, but you should steer clear of King Wah.

If you’re ever at Midway Airport and want to experience the awfulness, just ask for a taste of their«food.» Not restaurant quality at all! What fast food Chinese joint can’t make a semi-decent orange chicken? Their orange chicken is simple, no-flavor grilled chicken put into a barely recognizable orange sauce. And this is only from taste testing it!
