Lakeshore Imaging

Really?! How hard does it have to be to make a damn appointment for a normal, routine women’s health maintenance exam? First time I called I had to go into a lengthy explanation of how I’d had a mammogram at this location, but then had several at another facility as a follow up to an, uh. .. «issue», which turned out to be nothing (BUT INCREDIBLE STRESS). I wanted to schedule this appointment at the Lake Shore Drive. The person on the other end couldn’t get it in her head that I wanted to come back to Lake Shore Drive location, even though the very last exam I had was at another facility (in the same group, even).
Then, I started wondering. Do I really need to go thru the torture of the «mash ‘em up» routine they go thru here that is not even that accurate? Can I just cut to the chase and get the higher end, accurate one? I was loathe to call back with this complicated question.
Plus, all the questions she was asking (she couldn’t look up my records) were embarrassing to answer when I was oh, WORKING on site.

I ended up cancelling the appointment until i can ask my doctor what to do. I’ll probably end up eschewing this place («Delivering Excellence. .. MY ASS.) and going to the other, ultrasound place and paying thru the nose for it.
‘Cos my breasts are worth the best, bitches. This place ain’t it.
