We stumbled in kinda late — not past midnight. The sign indicated there would be at least another hour for drinks. My friend and I were quite pleased to have happened upon this spot. It is a lovely interior. The booths have a very intimate feel. It was not crowded but there were 6 or 7 people at the bar. The music was not of any consequence. This place is built for conversation. We quickly realized there would be no table service, what ever. We ordered and sat down to chat. We went to the bar for another round, then more chat. Suddenly, the bartender announces some emergency with his dog. We don’t have an open bill. We ask if there is time for us to finish our still full drinks. Sure, he has to count his till. For some reason this guy decides no, we should go. There is just something about this whole situation that stinks. Perhaps he had some rails in the back he was itching to get to. This guy was full of shit. He took our drinks, offered no refund and rushed us out the door. I think we asked for a refund, he refused. Outraged we asked to have the tip back on the round we were not allowed to finish. He threw it at us. Refund our drink price and keep the fucking tip. This was such a bizarre bar experience. I want to go back but the bad taste left by this bartender just keeps me from stopping.

Quaint at best, neighborhood watering hole. Its got potential but needs some work. Dark and dimly lit, could use a few speakers instead of a big ass hanging amp. Dark leather booths and a decent sized bar. American tapas is what the website boasts. The food was just okay. On a gift cert I sampled most of the appetizers. The crab cakes weren’t even cakes. They were even smaller than fried mushrooms. The burger sliders and the rib eye, again, were just okay. I can’t see having any of those again. I think I’d go back to check out the panini’s, definitely a spot you could get a table at, most any time. Good martini’s, though minute in amount and a bit too pricey. On the night I stopped in, they had the bartender’s ipod running. Server said its always bartender’s choice. Here’s the thing, dude’s iPod mix, was a composing of all the best of the worst amateur rock bands. Music stunk. Most likely the reason why the customer census was low. A few times people came in and left. The gift cert was honored for food and alc. That’s cool. I’ll probably check them out again.

I really enjoy this place. Think more relaxed and much cheaper Tiny Lounge(RIP). Bartenders are friendly and pour great drinks. Always a friendly face here to chat with. Love their coconut shrimp w/orange-ginger marmalade. Yum! For a while, this was the go-to place to decompress with friends after holiday family gatherings – seems it’s one of the few places open for those all-important occasions.

Not too bad. I went on a Tuesday night, and I think we were the only people in there other than a couple of town drunks. They didn’t have much of a wine selection, but I won’t hold that against it.

Good chill place for a drink. As mentioned before, the music selection is unique and, for the most part, very good. The drinks are cheaper than typical Lakeview bars, beer of the month is 3.50, and it’s 312 for a few more days. PBR bottles are 2.50. I didnt try the food personally, but friends said the appetizers were good overall. Friendly staff, both bartenders are very cool and prompt. The only issue is that it is small, so groups bigger than 5 need to get snag the booth right next to the entrance. Otherwise, you’re standing.

My love for Lennox Lounge was just reignited. A friend and I were recently looking for a semi-quiet place to sit and have a drink after our office holiday party. After an ill-advised and quick stop at Elm St. Liquors(most definitely NOT what we were looking for), we landed on Lennox Lounge. We scored a booth and were happy as clams. I took another out-of-town friend there again on a recent Saturday night and found it to be the perfect level of crowded — not too crowded, but not dead. This time we landed at the bar and were able to catch up over a few cocktails. Plus, Lennox Lounge plays the BEST music.

This is probably my favorite bar in Lakeview — it’s a bar that feels classy, but still like your neighborhood bar. The music is always good and there are plenty of booths so you can sit and have a good conversation. Drinks are pretty inexpensive and the bartenders are always attentive.

Nice lounge atmosphere that still has the feel of a friendly tavern. Good beer selection for those who aren’t into martinis. Went there on a Monday night, and it was nearly empty but food was half price and the ipods were playing some cool obscure Motown tunes. Good stuff.

A nice little lounge. Feels a little more upscale than the average hole in the wall, but definitely not Trendy McTrenderson. Plus, they have limoncello. Which makes them awesome.

Many good times have happened here. Best to rent it out for a party, bring your favorite people and your ipod, and chill out. Such a great place.

This is a chill little out-of-the-way lounge. Nice bartenders, decent drinks, not too smokey, good music. Although it’s on the small side, it wasn’t very crowded when I stopped in at about 11:00 on a Friday night. I would suggest going here with a date or a few friends who want a calm evening out, as it didn’t seem like the kind of place where conversations were particularly easy to strike up.

Nice atmosphere but the drinks were kinda pricey(maybe it was just what I ordered)! I would go back if I happened to be walking by, but I wouldn’t make a special trip out there.

This is a fabulous place for a date… it never seems to get too crowded, so conversation is possible and you can usually score a booth. It’s pretty lounge-y(very dimly lit, candles on all the tables), but you can still watch the game if that’s what you’re into. The bartender is cute, and the service is usually pretty good. The crowd is pretty laid-back and I’ve actually met some decent people at this bar. As far as the alcohol goes, I’ve had every martini on their drink menu, and I can recommend ALL of them, though my absolute favorite is the Pomosa(champagne, pomegrante juice and vodka!). Their food isn’t bad either. They make a pretty good panini. And I like their french fries. To summarize: My boyfriend and I go here when we want to go someplace decent without getting super-dressed up and having to spend a ton of cash. Lennox Lounge fits the bill nicely for that.

Everyone thinks of this place as just a martini bar… and it kinda is, but one thing you don’t expect is how awesome the appetizer menu is. Next time you go, have some food.
