The weekend brunch buffet was such a good deal when they had it — I was impressed. We went back last month to try out the brunch menu and it was just mediocre. My husband had the chicken and waffles. I found the waffles to be dry, and the chicken was not as flavorful as I expected. I had the shrimp /grits with sausage gravy. Don’t be misled, there’s really no sausage in the gravy, they chop it up into small pieces and add it to the gravy for flavor. The shrimp was very good and the grits were done fine but I was really underwhelmed by the gravy which should have brought the entire dish together. We really liked the buffet before if anything for the food because we don’t drink but too bad we found out that they will not be bringing back the buffet anytime soon. I would pass on this restaurant and look for plenty of other good places around streeterville.

There is nothing I don’t like about this place. During my 5 day stay at the hyatt we visited here everyday. Whether it was for half off wine Wednesday. .or lunch before we ventured out… or nightcaps on the way in. Service is spectacular! The best bartenders in chicago. Once he learned my style of drink I didn’t even have to order. He’d mix up something special and delicious every time. The food… awesome. super fresh and delicious. One time we split a sandwich and soup and they graciously brought it out on 2 plates and 2 small bowls. That’s the kind of service you get here. Nice sleek atmosphere. .comfortable. .upscale yet cozy. I seriously recommend this place.

Came here for brunch with a friend and a Groupon and I was quite pleased with the result. The Groupon offer was for two cocktails, two entrees, and apparently, a dessert to share, which we did not realize was part of the deal. Thankfully, we each ordered savory entrees, otherwise it would have been too sweet of a meal. For our cocktails, we both tried Tee Time, which was citrusy and refreshing. I don’t normally go for cocktails, as I’m a beer girl, but I very much enjoyed this one. Because I love Chilaquiles, I had to try Level Two’s version and I wasn’t disappointed. The smoked chicken flavor came through and the refried black beans were a spicy and tasty addition. The tortilla chips also stayed crisp in the dish making for a hearty flavor and texture combination. I wish I hadn’t talked as much as I did, so I could have eaten more of the dish before it got cold. The dessert then came around, and it was a tasting of three different treats: white chocolate bread pudding, key lime pie, and chocolate chip cheesecake. I liked the cheesecake best, as it was smooth and creamy. The key lime pie was tart, but too crumbly, and the white chocolate bread pudding was just okay, as it was a bit on the dry side. All in all, with pleasant service and an elegant atmosphere, Level Two offers a menu to satisfy any taste, and I was certainly not disappointed.

Stayed at the Hyatt and decided to try breakfast at Level Two since it was convenient. It is very overpriced. Decided to just get the continental breakfast which was $ 14. They had yogurt, oatmeal, bagels, and cereal. But for $ 14, it did not seem like a good deal.

We did a groupon and this was truly a treat! Joshua was our server and made all the best recommendations! We did Chilaqualies and it was spectacular. I did the whiskey bloody mary and my bf did the coffee cocktail, both were fantastic. Match all of that with a bowl of donuts in lieu of a bread basket and this was one great brunch!!! *the dessert tray was also outstanding* big thanks to Claire and Joshua

All I can sY is that this place made my night. I was on a flight running late from Houston on a Saturday night. Get into the hotel around 6 pm and it is a out 38 °F outside. I came down from my room thinking I would grab a drink and then go eat. Of course the well written menu sucked me in. Everything sounded great. I finally committed to the crab cakes as I wasn’t going for a whole meal. I also asked about the local on draught, it was an IPA. Both were superb. As was the service, management and other craft beer selections. This place is a gem. The service was superb. Each wait staff, not just mine, including the manager, asked how I was doing and engaged as they made their way by. The food tasted as great as it sounded(a rarity these days). Lastly, a peeve of mine, the wait staff was not only familiar with the menu, but with the craft beer selections. En toto, when all was said and done, these guys had made my night. A little good food, beverage and company for the wayward traveler on a cold, rainy night in CHI town. This is not your typical hotel restaurant. This is a good place to come for great food, great service, and some excellent, carefully chosen, craft brew selections. Added values to the hotel and worth your time if you are in the area and looking for a nice meal, alone, or with friends. Great place.

Came here for dinner because friends came to visit from out of town and other restaurants all needed reservation to get in. After reading that it has decent rating, we decided to try this place. Service was way too slow, my friend ordered shrimp salad and she didn’t receive her food although most of us were almost done with our food. She finally got her food after like 10 mins and was very unhappy. I ordered spinach chicken risotto and it was like the worst risotto I’ve ever tasted, it looked like someone spilled bunch of dried rosemary in the risotto, all i could taste was rosemary. Some of the rice was undercooked, it was also under seasoned. Our waitress was way too busy and didn’t ask us how the food was. I barely ate risotto and threw most of it out. It was terrible, NEVER again.

Came in for happy hour on a Monday night. I was told I could sit anywhere and then was told I had to sit at the bar to receive the special(s). The waitress and hostess both didn’t know what the happy hour specials were — and had to ask several times. The menu is okay, there is not much variety over the standard American fare. When asked if I could order small plates/sides along with an appetizer the waitress stared at me as though I was speaking another language. Unfortunately, I didn’t leave and decided to place my order anyway. The food was delivered timely and it presented nicely but it was flavorless and bland. I had the chicken pops and they were really fatty and ended up not eating most of them. The salad was unoriginal and bland. Overall, I wouldn’t eat here again even if staying at the hotel.

Very lovely place! Our server was so polite and attentive! How can you go wrong when you get donuts for brunch instead of rolls!!! They come out warm and are SO yummy! I got the chicken and waffles… Waffle crisp on outside and warm and soft and fluffy inside! Perfect! The chicken was crunchy on the exterior and nice and moist and so juicy inside. Seasoning in the batter was great! Don’t be fooled… There is a lot of food even though it looks small! My friend got the grass-fed burger with truffle and Parmesan fries… and its MASSIVE! This is an awesome place!

Other reviews are management plants. Brunch not available until 11:00 am, breakfast buffet overpriced hotel food. Cold scrambled eggs, dry pastries and poor service for $ 25/person. Another Unilocal bait and switch.

I ordered the trout and a side order of asparagus. They both had way too much black pepper. Also the radicchio that came with the trout was extremely bitter and unpleasant. The sliced apple that was provided was not enough to balance it. Both the asparagus and trout were cooked perfectly. The restaurant is kind of pricey though.

Today my boyfriend and I had brunch at Level Two as a pre birthday celebration. The service was 5 star and so was the food. He had the level two chicken and waffles and I had the chiliqualies and it was… DELICIOUS. We also had the mimosas and it was probably the best I have ever had. They served complimentary dessert; we had blueberry cheesecake and two different types of bread pudding. They ALSO presented me with a birthday dessert which was also pretty good. Great 5 star experience.

I purchased a Groupon from here just wanting to try something new. My expectations were pretty low because it’s a hotel restaurant. I was totally blown away. Service was excellent, seated right away, food was 5 stars, location was nice. Literally everything was perfect. I’m def going back and recommend for all. Only con– and this isn’t a deal breaker was that there is no barrier from the elevators to the restaurant. Basically the hotel guests come out of the elevator and watch you eat and they’re your focal point. One of the guests even came over to me to ask what I was having, in his swim shorts. I’d suggest those room divider curtains for a little bit of privacy. To me there is a difference between restaurant in a hotel and hotel restaurant.

The service was fast and friendly. The Nutella French toast was a large portion. I had trouble finishing it and I can eat a lot. I weigh over 250 lbs. the Sunday brunch came with a drink and desert. The desert was 4 different choices all brought to the table! Located on the second floor at our hotel was great too.

We stayed in the Hyatt, so it made sense on the day of check-out to drop down to this place for breakfast. It was so good! I love, love, love Eggs Benedict and they make it perfectly. The poached eggs had runny middles, the Canadian Bacon was smoky, the English muffins we buttery and toasted with a slight crisp, and the Hollandaise sauce was creamy and delicious! My husband got the breakfast buffet, which included coffee. It had regular things like scrambled eggs, sausage and bacon, but also had fancy cheeses, like Havarti with dill, and fancy meats too, like mortadella. He said the food was higher quality than most buffets. The service was great, and the atmosphere was very nice. I would eat here again if we weren’t going back to Florida today.

LOVED this place. Great breakfast, great mimosas, amazing staff. Very classy but casual feel. The dishes are big so be prepared to share or come hungry! Very reasonably priced for such a classy brunch.($ 15 a person for food).

Over a weekend trip I had their salmon which was really good, their breakfast was really delicious and the service was outstanding. the Parmesan truffle fries were nothing exciting but the mushroom empanadas were really good. My favorite item was the Nutella French toast but luckily the waitress warned me this dish is super sweet so instead I asked for plain French toast with a side of Nutella and that was perfect. Sooo yummy. I could only eat two of the four pieces but super good! My only complaint was that the rotisserie chicken tastes like it had freezer burn. Overall the food was very good but the service was really really good.

Had brunch here today before the bridal expo and based on previous reviews I thought it would be great. If I could rate on food alone it would have been 4 stars without a doubt but unfortunately the service killed it for me. We arrived for reservations at 11:30, the restaurant was pretty empty maybe around 3 tables. The server tool a bit to come by and when he did he mentioned that he would only be helping us until our actual server arrived. He took our drink order and then we waited. .and waited… and waited some more… we were on a bit of a time crunch ad we were there for a bridal show at 1pm. Around 11:50, we got our drinks, the busses stopped by a few times and tried his best to hurry the process along but the bartender was MIA for quite some time. Once we had our drinks they gave us the incorrect order but corrected it. We ordered our food after I finally flagged down the manager who took our order. I mentioned that we were pressed for time so anything they could do was appreciated. At 12:30pm our food arrived, I was given the wrong item so they sent it back and came back with the correct one shortly after. The food was great. My grandma and mom went for egg sandwiches with fries on the side, they enjoyed them and it was a lot of food. I opted for the eggs Benedict with crab cake instead of ham with hash browns, also great. My cousin had the Nutella stuffed french toast and we all had bites and it was tasty as well. The staff realized that I was not happy with the service so I will give them credit for trying to turn things around in the end by being extra attentive once we had our food and giving us a couple of extra mimosas as well as a dessert plate to share, unfortunately the desserts(pictured) were pretty they tasted flavorless and not worth the calories. I know this review seems harsh but I truly believe that constructive criticism helps people learn from mistakes so I truly hope Level Two does that since the food is worth the visit.

Delicious buffet brunch with unlimited bloodies and mimosas for $ 25! As a hotel guest this seems excessive but from a normal diner perspective(compared to other brunches in the area) it’s a great deal. Gourmet and healthy salads LAMBCHOPS Bloody Mary bar Mimosas with multiple fruit purées …and many more Also! Sushi happy hour from 5 – 7(50% off). Not too many creative maki, but the fish is fresh– chefs sashimi platter is the best deal.
