Im usually don’t have time to leave rating, but today I make sure I will find sometime for this! LR have a very nice a modern pieces, so we decide to buy from them. Unfortunately it was the worst experience I have ever had, buying furniture. We order a «custom made» Sofa and it was supposed to take between 14 – 16 weeks to arrived. We bought it March 28,2015 and today sept 22,2015, I still have not received !!!(25 weeks and 3 days) Every time we called to know a status about it was always 2 weeks and will be delivered… Today Sept 22, I was supposed to finally received it between 1−2… guess what ?! Im still have not received it!!! when you buy an almost $ 7k sofa you expect a great quality and even an AMAZING service. So far I can not tell you about the quality, because i haven’t received it, but service is extremely poor. I will make sure I will never again wait my money with LR.

This place is very modern fruniture that comes with pretty expensive prices. The salesman here are very nice and not pushy. They give you room to breathe and walk around and do your own thing but if there’s things about the product that you probably don’t know like it transforming into a new piece he would run up and show you what it could do. But it’s nice that you don’t have salesman breathing down your back and pressuring you into buying something. So the furniture amazing and modern and the salesman are nice can’t get better than that.

Quick notes on furniture shopping: When shopping for my condo, I had seen a few others where the furniture was designed from LR and I was really impressed. I wanted to get something here when I eventually bought my place but in-store, the experience was totally the opposite. The pieces looked like they’d fit a showroom, but never a «home.» Maybe it’s their design service and catalog pieces that are more functional and popular, but I have a hard time buying furniture without seeing it live.

I’ve bought some furniture here. It’s great — it’s extra expensive and hope it lasts a lifetime. Some of the designs are classics, put together well — it’s always hard to tell with upholstered things — but my main concern is that a bunch of the stuff they have on the floor is crap. I mean this strictly from a construction point of view. Much of it is poorly put together — particularly things that are made of plywood or similar sheet goods are outrageously expensive, not that hard to make, and often have poor joinery. This may not be evident to many people, but do look closely. Expense is not an assurance of quality.

Seriously, I love this place! I found the most amazing couch ever here!!! It is unbelieveably fantastic! I think this place has some incredible artistry in their designs and I love the high-quality your paying for. I didn’t find it difficult to find what I looking for and am extremely satisfied with this store and it’s collection of product.

Although they are extremely pricey, I’m a huge fan of Ligne Roset’s collection. So much so that I jumped at the chance to obtain a slightly used, but in great condition, Extensia Table about a year ago. My beautiful table has spent the last year looking lonely, since I haven’t found the right chairs to go with it. Having a day off, I decided to trek over to the Ligne Roset store, wearing my normal day off clothes of jeans, gym shoes and a sweater. I had two goals in mind: To match chairs they had in stock to the display table to see how things worked together and to obtain a wood sample so I could keep shopping at other stores if I didn’t find something there to suit my tastes. First of all, two salespeople ganged up on me and argued with me that the didn’t make the kind of table I was describing, even though I pointed at the display and said, «this is my table.» I wasn’t sure why they put up such a fuss about the topic. I felt like I was being accused of being some sort of table counterfeiter. I am not, by the way — or if I am, I really pay attention to details. The table I own has the Ligne Roset name etched into the glass, just like the display did. Finally, when one of the salespeople, Corey, did decide to show me chairs that would look good with Extensia, he did so in a hurried manner, like he was trying to get rid of me so he could get back to his empty store. I will admit that he was helpful in circling chairs in the catalog that I liked so that I could keep them in mind. That kindness, though, was negated when he finished off by telling me that he hadn’t shown me a couple of other chairs because they were about two thousand dollars a chair, then he looked at me like he wanted me to leave. I’m sorry, isn’t up to me to decide if I can afford a two thousand dollar chair or not? All in all, a dreadful experience. If I do decide to go with any of their chairs, I’m going to try to order when I’m out of town so I don’t have to deal with the Chicago staff again.

I purchased a really high value modular table. You definitely pay for the quality and value. The salespeople are fine and the experience was OK but nothing out-of-this-world. I think one has to be in love with a piece of furniture at this place to pay the fees they want. Not some casual Ikea experience.
