Beware of this school and realize that Ms. Griffin, Ms. Shay and the others who own and manage the school are primarily concerned with these: profit, image and ease. First, LLLC is on a perpetual mission to pick pocket parents at any chance. Your child’s photo will be taken often and Ms. Shay will try to get you to buy the most expensive package. In addition to a pricey tuition, LLLC will demand a $ 600 dollar donation. Other expenses will pop up from time to time that serve no real purpose except for LLLC administrators to enrich themselves. Second, LLLC is highly concerned with their image. They try to make it seem that the school is more rigorous than others. The staff does most of the art projects assigned to the students and claims you child did it. They run field trips often and it is any wonder if the children get anything out of it. A trip to the children’s museum arrived over an hour early and the preschoolers were forced to sit quietly while the staff did nothing to stimulate the children. At the Shed Aquarium, the exhibits were so high, the children could not see the fish. After some time, I realized that field trips were to brag rather than educate. At the end of the year, the school has a mock graduation at Morgan Park. The students are all taught to memorize an answer to a difficult question and then the students are asked these questions during a presentation. What four year old really understands Einsteins theory of relativity? But a child was asked what this was during the presentation and he answered«E=MC2». Rote lessons are not education, though their specious presentation creates the image of an accelerated program. Third, LLLC attempts to defer work from themselves to you. LLLC demanded that field trips have 100% coverage. That means every other week, I would have to take off a work day to attend a field trip with my child or find a sitter. The purpose of day care is to watch my child while I am at work! What is the staff doing? At an LLLC outing in the park, the staff was dancing to a dj’s music while the children were forced to sit a picnic benches. In sum, Griffin will claim to «love» your child, but in reality, she only loves your check.(It better be a check because there is a 15% charge if you use a credit card!)

Awful experience! I don’t mind paying the highest rate in chicago, but this facility is not worth 50% of the price. I would not leave my baby/toddler here. You stay for a while because they keep saying«all the other parents love it here». But after leaving, I met a couple of parents who pulled their children from this center, too! They are very dishonest here. Don’t believe the hype! I heard the program for the older children is better. Still couldn’t leave my child with this administration.
