Wish I’d read these first. Went there today wiling to drop a hundred(from my dad) for my mom’s xmas gift. After hauling my baby into stroller and walking in, where no one said hello even though I was the only person there, I asked to use the bathroom. I get stores don’t always say yes to this(although I never get why) but the weird thing is neither of the women replied. One just stared at me like a walker from the Walking Dead and the other just shook her head. You can’t say«no» or maybe«sorry…» I told them they were too weird to spend any more time with and left.

Worst customer service! I walked in the store and both sales girls didn’t even acknowledge me. The girl at the register seemed clueless and the girl on the floor looked right at me and didn’t say a word. I greeted her(that’s what people do) and she barely said anything. Apparently it was too much work! I love Ann Taylor Loft but will not be going to this location again. Shopping should be a fun experience. The girls working here are rude and clearly lack basic customer service!

I’m not sure why all the low reviews, every time I’ve been there, I have excellent service. Amy especially has been helpful in today’s visit. Although literally every time I go in that is often the girls are friendly and eager to help with styling! I am a big fan of the store in this location :-)

I actually had several good experiences here. The sales representatives are not too pushy and let you do your thing… There is always a large selection of clothes on sale and I have found some great steals at this location. Every time I have gone shopping here, I have always been able to find street parking.

This place has awful awful customer service. I was in yesterday around 5:15 pm. No one greeted me or said hello. I know the salesgirls were busy at the cash register but later no on was in there except me. And maybe 2 other women. I had money to spend. Could have bought a good amount of work pieces I needed. But didn’t. They didn’t get my sale. I walked around picking up everything I wanted to try, my arms were so full it was hard to shop. No one offered to start me a fitting room. So I tried on. No one asked how it was going. Instead I overhear employee conversations. One mentioned that a woman just bought 2 suits. And the other said it’s better than the ones who come in here, try on the whole store, then don’t buy anything. In my mind I was done. But I really like a unique scarf I had found. I went out to pay for my purchase. Glanced at the jewelry… Waiting to see if I might get acknowledged. Nope. I walked out. They were more concerned about the store, straightening for the night so they could get out on time on a Friday night. I overheard another comment about this as well. Wake up! It’s about the customers not the store. They are what keeps your door open!!! I happen to have been«raised» retail, went to school for it, worked in it all my life. So I know you were trained better. Shame on you Loft.

Wow, I’m surprised by the one star reviews. I like this location a lot more than the downtown ones. I’m always able to find parking, they have a decent selection, and the salesladies don’t bother me. I guess to some that may seem as though they are unwilling to help, but I hate hate hate it when salespeople try to sell me things and ask me what I’m looking for. Or, you know, do their job. The clothes are decent, I like their dresses very much. The tops aren’t cut well for taller girls — they tend to ride up on me a lot, and I’m only 5’7″. How come the short girls(oh, excuse me, «petite») get a whole section to themselves and I’m stuck tugging at my shirts and having my pant hems let out?

This place sucked. I used to work for this company and because I was dressed like a Wickerpark local no one wanted to help me. Some time people in vans need dresses too!

I totally just had some snippy saleswoman kick me out of the fitting area. Not the fitting room, but the fitting area. You know the little hallway with the three-angled mirror? The woman clearly had issues. She might as well have said, «I’m bitter against men and I need to control everything at work because my home life sucks.» I’ve been kicked out of the fitting area at Victoria’s Secret once when I went in with my girlfriend and that was completely understandable as there is pretty much nothing but undergarments there. Ann Taylor doesn’t even sell underwear and the woman has a piss-poor attitude. I hate going shopping with my girlfriend because so many stores are crappy about having seating available for guys who are waiting around. The only places I’ve ever been that has cool seats for dudes is the Levi retail stores and Lane Bryant. So if anyone needs jeans or plus sized clothes, take your wife there and not Ann Taylor Loft.
