I ordered the M Burger and it was really good. I wish they had onion rings then my lunch would have been perfect. Other then that, their lemonade was delicious.

Rude staff– there’s no excuse for being outright rude to customers. This isn’t the first time I’ve seen rude employees here, but it’s the first time it has been directed at me. The woman handing out orders called out an order number– not my number. Then she read off the contents, which I recognized as my order due to a special-ordered item. I said, You mean(my correct order number)?, she then dropped the bag on the counter and abruptly turned her back. I wasn’t being upset or rude, I was simply trying to get my correct order. I did not raise my voice. Sure enough, on the bag was the receipt with my order number on it– in bold. It was apparent that she took offense at «being corrected.» She did not ask if I wanted ketchup– which they always do, she kept her back turned. I asked for some extra napkins– and she reached over, grabbed a few, and reached behind her in my general vicinity, still not looking. If you want bitchy service along with your burger go here, otherwise AVOIDIT.

Tried M Burger for the first time today. It’s conveniently located in the Thompson Center in downtown Chicago in the lower level food court. The storefront and counter are cramped and small but I navigated through the line relatively quickly and waited only a few minutes to place my order and pick it up during the busy Friday lunch hour. I ordered the single M Burger(bacon, «M Burger» sauce, lettuce, pickles, tomato, onions, etc.) along with a side of the fries. The burger was tasty and far less of a mess than the chaos on a bun that is Red Robin and their nearby loop locations. Are there better lunch options in the loop? Sure. Would I go back? Sure. The food was decent, the service was quick, and overall this was a good experience.

My girlfriend had a hankering for a chocolate malt. We ordered one right before closing on a week night at M Burger. We watched the girl make it and it didn’t look like she put any malt mix in it. We tried it and it was just a chocolate shake. We asked if they put malt mix in it and she said«yes» and brushed us off b/c they wanted to close… very disappointing! We threw it away and walked down the street to Portillo’s and bought another one that turned out great.

Food is alright, affordable. But I’ve now had 2⁄2 experiences with rude cashiers in the morning. They spent most of their time on their phone and obviously annoyed by having to take my order. They kept mentioning Ed, if you’re the manager, Ed, please take note.

Came here on free burger/anniversary day. Even though the line was long I must say they were working quite efficiently. But onto the food, the burger(double ketchup and onion only) was pretty bland. The bun fell apart after the first bite. Since it was free it wasn;t a big deal, but I actually think I prefer McDonalds and wouldn’t pay their prices for this again. Honestly I probably wouldn’t eat a free one again since it’s not worth the calories.

I would give it a zero. The worst service I have ever gotten in my entire life. The cashier was nonchalant. Asked her coworkers if they were willing to make burgers. why is it called M burger? She dropped the spoon while getting strawberry syrup for my shake, picked it right up and dipped it back in the syrup without washing it. The Caucasian male employee walked past spilling cold fries on the already filthy floor while eating cooked fries. The cashier slammed my food on the table and walked away. No thanks or anything at all. They all looked bored and unbothered. A female employee with dreads is the only nice one, she made my burger. I threw the shake out, can’t complain and have them spit in my food. I felt disrespected and bullied! I was having a great day till I went there. No wonder there was no one in line to order food except me. Thought it was just a slow day for them but I guess people just didn’t want to feel bad for ordering some food. Mind u I am only 102lb, not a big lady buying a burger. Extremely bad service, I was sized up by the cashier all through.

If I could give this a 0 I would. The employees weren’t wearing hairnets or anything. I actually ended up getting food poisoning after eating here. Avoid at all costs. There is a perfectly good Burger King a few stores away.

So maybe I need to go to the actual restaurant. If they have one. The burger was pretty good no lie. I didn’t get the«M» sauce on it nor any bacon but overall, their burger will do. I just wasn’t blown away. Nice burger choice for the location.

A bum shaving in the bathroom with COLDWATER?! By far the WORST Chicken Sandwich I’ve ever Had! Over cooked piece of rubber I think best describes it– STEERCLEAROFTHISJOINT! Trust me

Not pleased with this experience. I went to get my ID renewed at the DMV Express, and surprisingly had a much better time there than at M Burger. The wait wasn’t long, but I had ordered a single burger with everything, and a cheeseburger with just cheese and ketchup. There was essentially no line, but when we opened our burgers, the cheeseburger’s cheese had been thrown on haphazardly and was oozing out onto all of our napkins and the bag. The single burger’s toppings also had been made messily, and I essentially had to replace everything onto the burger. They tasted fine, nothing special, but for the service there, I would not go back. I have received better coiffed burgers at McDonald’s! If you are okay with sloppiness, the price and speed of these burgers are worth it. Otherwise, I would go to Shake Shack or Epic Burger– same thing, better service.

M Burger is the best fast food option in the loop. I’m so happy it’s close to my office. Get the Nurse Betty for a serious kick in the butt. I love all the jalapenos they add to it. You can choose your heat level and going with the highest is the way to go. They have a few items on their secret menu, such as the farmhouse, which is a burger with all the animals present: pig, cow and chicken! It’s a massive monster! Also, try the espresso milkshake!

Gross! Ordered a plain burger, but received a burger where the staff attempted to wipe off the sauce and veggies. Attempted cause my burger had sauce on the meat, pickle between the patties and an onion and some white sauce on the bun. So, no, it’s not cooked fresh. Staff clearly wipe food with either their hands or some napkin and care less about LEYE quality. I can go to Burger King or McDonald’s for that same experience and half the price. Skip this place. Unsanitary, unappreciative and unwilling to serve the quality you would want!

The burger itself is tasty but the bun disenagrated after my first bite, the dries resemble McDonald’s but not as tasty. The shakes and ice cream in general here are where it’s at. I would say that although this is better than a typical fast food burger chain it’s still no five guys in my book. Sometimes the difference of really great fries does the trick and these fall flat.

Average or less than average. The cheese burger is not a big thing, nothing to say about it. Nothing surprising. The packing is very good :) thats what i liked. Fries are good, not too much salt.

Another reviewer summed it up nicely: it’s a «good middle class burger.» M Burger may not be the most unique or famous of the new breed of hamburger chains, but I do think it’s one of the most fun and accessible. If you like spicy food, try the«Hurt Burger.» It’s the most heat you’ll get on your meat for under $ 5.

It’s actually pretty excellent fast food. I could care less that they put sea salt on their fries. Tasty though those fries are. I imagine their shakes are great, I generlly have a pop. What impresses me is how uniformly mediocre most fast food burgers are. These are made to order and they taste really fresh and I have never had one that over or under cooked. I actually enjoy eating these. Does anyone really look forward to eating at Mc Donalds? Burger King is just mediocre and Wendy’s just aren’t what they used to be. You may argue that Culvers is better or In and Out Burger, they aren’t in Thompson Center or walking distance of Thompson Center. So until they decide to open there, this is a great burger in Thompson Center and pretty darn good one on it’s own.

Good«middle class» burgers. Nothing special in any way but a good on the run burger(but avoid the fries) Had a burger with bacon and the patty taste was good though i would have liked the burger a little less grilled. Good condiments and salty bacon as it should be. Milkshake a cut above the old McDonalds style but not as good as In n out or Fatburger. Prices are ok for what you get.

M Burger, round two. Sad to say, but I must be blunt. We are just not meant to be. This time around, I ordered the hurt burger double patty and cookies n cream milkshake. The burger came with three options for the sauce: regular barbecue, mildly spicy, or spicy. I went with the spicy barbecue sauce and jalapenos. It certainly had the burning effect but that was all there was to wonder. The patties were slightly charred yet the cheese didn’t even melt. Their usual milkshake flavors are chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry. I did my research and discovered their«secret menu.» Per my visit, they were also offering the espresso and cookies n cream flavors. I opted for the latter. The usual price for a shake is $ 2.99 but these secretive ones were $ 3.99 each. Worthy? I think not. My friend had the old fashion double patty. She didn’t have much to say other than it being overly dry. The French fries tossed in sea salt were pleasant so that’s a definite plus.
