I currently have Manage Chicago managing 6 buildings/houses. Awesome company! I buy foreclosures, fix them up, and rent them out. Well I used to physically do all of it, now I have Manage Chicago do all of it for me. They have real estate agents on staff that can be my buying agent, once purchased they have construction crews that can do the remodeling, they have a rental agent that finds renters, and then the diamond in the rough, the management of the buildings. I tried using another company for this and it didn’t go so well. The sophistication of their computur program is the coolest thing. For example– 1– I get a monthly detailed invoice that shows me all expenses, rent income, etc 2– When a building has a pipe burst/furnace break/leaky faucet or whatever, I get an immediate email alert that informs me of what is going on… then if its over my pre-determined authorizition limit I can appove or decline the work to be done! All by email! 3– When a tenant’s lease is up, they remodel and paint it, AND find a new renter for me! I get to approve or deny the renter all with a click of a finger. If you’re a landlord, and you’ve been doing all this yourself(as I used to do) I’m guessing your chin is on the floor right now. Awesome. I’m amazed that there is a company that specializes in exactly what I want to do– Buy cheap properties, get them rented, manage the properties without having to do anything. I just get a monthly statement and these guys take care of everything. It’s really amazing that a company like this even exists. Especially if you’re a section 8 landlord, they know the ins and outs of the entire system. If you’re a section 8 landlord, you will be amazed that there is a company like this out there and highly recomend them.
