Marshall Field Garden Apts

To be fair, regarding the review by Jet, the area has gotten a lot better.
Shootings? Don’t live in liberal, anti-​gun Chicago if you don’t like shootings. I’ve witnessed (or been down the street from) at least five shootings, where all but one victim died.
Two in «the hood,» two in a decent area (near Moody Bible Institute), and one in Lincoln Park. Gangs? Less and less. Drugs? Some, but still less and less.
Don’t move *into* Marshall Field, but you could easily move nearby and be fine. Police patrol day and night and there’s a station a few blocks away.
Edit: I just found out today that Marshall Field Garden Apartments added *many* new, and *tough* armed security officers ²⁴⁄₇. Crime will drop much further than it already has.

How was no one reviewed the Marshall Field Apartments? I have a feeling they are being deleted as soon as they go up– This place is a gang ridden violent hell hole for anything near it. Cops are constantly trying to keep the hoodlums under control and it never works– they are always outside selling drugs right out front EVERY DAY off of sedgwick and evergreen– Why are no cops there ²⁴⁄₇??? 2 people were just SHOT in the convenient store on Sedgwick right out side the Marshall Field apartments. The street is completely VACANT just because of these apartments ON TOP OF IT THERE ARE THREE ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS NEXT TO THIS PLACE! How is this possible??? Children are having to interact with this place– INSANE
