We couldn’t order the promoted Chicken Nugget special due to a language barrier. Eventually we just gave in and asked for a #10. So now our McDonald’s tab is up to $ 3 and four pieces of cheese.(Maybe two. Still need to check how many pieces of cheese come on a double cheeseburger.) The fries were a bit undercooked. Good, not great. Nuggets were an 8 out of 10. Drinks were cold and delicious. Bonus: We actually won a sundae in the Minion Mania Game! Two spoons, please.

It’s McDonald’s so expect that caliber of service, food etc. It’s always clean and the service is usually pretty fast. Nice people and decent food. I know it’s a McDonald’s but I have eaten a McMuffin at more than one and they’re not always consistent. This location is fairly consistent in terms of service, cleanliness and food prep.

It’s McDonald’s what do you expect. Got the 2 for 5 deal and enjoying the sandwich as I speak. Nothing out of the ordinary.

Not a big fan! Their customer service is not so great and they aren’t clean.

I had honestly stopped going to this McDonald’s entirely, even though it’s literally only blocks from my apartment. Due to some errands we were running in the neighborhood yesterday, though, I figured we’d take the risk and dine in here before doing everything else. Then I was reminded why I stopped coming here. You’d think that, on a busy Saturday, there would be more than one person manning the cash registers. Nope — one poor overworked woman was handling the whole thing. Given the noise level around her, it was not surprising that she didn’t hear the extra Coke and fries I’d put on the main order, so we ended up having to do a second order just to get those in. Then the trouble began. The problem at this McDonald’s, apart from the nasty décor, has always been lack of communication. I’ve seen this at this location before, but today it was really noticeable. The manager was running the show, getting fry orders together and pulling together other things, but for some reason she couldn’t understand why it was that we had TWO orders rather than one, and she never thought to listen to the cashier when she told her what the deal was. Instead, she tried to give us cups for our drinks again, even though the cashier had already done that; and when she finally did bring the sandwiches and the one order of fries, she swanned off before checking to see if anything else(like that extra fry order) was needed. So I stood and waited. And waited. And waited. The cashier knew what I was waiting for, but for some reason she didn’t speak up, nor did the manager ask. Instead, we waited a good four minutes before someone else noticed we were still waiting for fries — after the manager had already given out two other batches and had to scoop up some more. After finally bringing up the fries(and trying to give up drink cups AGAIN), we finally had the whole order — only to find it was all barely warm. I would say they’re better when it comes to drive-thru orders, but I don’t want to end up in Hell for lying. The primary reason I stopped going there was the constant need to explain that I needed a Sprite, not fries(another review mentions how few native English speakers work at this location, but honestly the only time it’s been a problem is when I’m ordering a Sprite) and the fact that every single breakfast sandwich I’ve gotten there in the mornings tastes like fish. And spoiled fish, at that. I now drive an extra few blocks up to the Devon/BP location, where I’ve never had any problems. But as for this one? Never again.

Honestly, it’s not bad! Reliable, fast service. Big fan of the McGriddle I had. Their newer grilled chicken sandwiches are also tasty!

If you don’t speak Spanish, fine another McDonald’s. No body understands english, and the place seems to be overrun by street bums off the street, sitting in there with no food or drinks.

Like others have said, you know what you’re getting when you eat at McDonald’s. The only thing separating one McDonald’s from the next is cleanliness and customer service, both of which are, imo, a cut above the rest at this location. I try not to eat at any fast food chain too frequently, but sometimes, late at night, you need to throw down some grease. This is an acceptable place to do so.

Okay so first let me tell you that this is McDonald’s but unfortunately the name and reputation that McDonald’s has made is not the same as it used to be. So, here is where I would give the CEO an higher ups of the corporation some words of advice. Please if a customer orders a small cup of coffee at your drive threw window don’t make them come in and get it because your staff forgot about it. I know I am not a regular customer nor do I spend hundreds of dollars at your establishments but every customer should be treated equally even those in the drive threw who are only getting a cup of coffee. I will not be back to this location and would recommend that everyone else follow my lead.

This McDonald’s is conveniently located, my order is consistently correct, the service is friendly, and the food quality is good. I’m definitely a repeat customer. To rate this place one star because the food is «unhealthy» or «full of preservatives» is ludicrous. It’s a fast food restaurant… everyone knows what’s on the menu here, it’s not a surprise. If you’re looking for healthy options, either grab the nutritional guide in the store or try the vegan restaurant on Broadway.

Double drive through = much better and quicker service. This is my spot for a diet coke on my way back from the northern burbs. The service is always friendly and there is rarely a backup. You know what you’re getting at McDonald’s and the only thing that really separates one from another is the customer service.

Man, I’m not even going to really review McDonald’s. According to my Unilocal mobile app I’m the duke of this location. Why? Because sometimes I’m in a pinch and running late in the morning and I stop in the drive thru to get an egg mcmuffin minus the canadian bacon and a small coffee. Without the disgusting bacon my calorie count for the sandwich clocks in at a respectable 280 calories. Yes, I know the sandwich is chock full of crappy preservatives and other ingredients. Not to mention I just heard how the largest supplier of McDonald’s eggs was horribly treating the chickens. I really try not to eat at McDonald’s but sometimes I’m a hypocrite and I stop in. Sometimes after drinking at 2 am on the way home I stop in but that’s been relatively quelled as I’d rather eat at home or get a burrito somewhere on Clark St. Hey, the coffee is half decent and so is the french fries, egg mcmuffin and buscuits with egg and cheese. I really need to stop eating here and get my ass in gear in the morning so I can continue to make my own mcmuffin.

When you go to a McDonald’s, you’re probably not expecting much. Still this place manages to disappoint. First of all, they advertise free wi-fi. I regularly go to coffee shops and have no problems connecting but their internet seemed to be troublesome. In addition, they have disconnected the power in the seating area to make sure that people can’t stay/don’t linger. It’s a very inhospitable environment, even for such a cookie-cutter restaurant chain. Finally, there was shell in my egg. This seems to happen almost every time I order at a McDonald’s but this was a particularly large piece of shell and I don’t understand how anyone could have missed it. All in all, a definite pass.

This place ALWAYS manages to mess up my order, but I still go here because it’s close to where I live and I am always drunk on the weekends! Who isn’t?! Anywhoo this time they really messed up. I ordered a ten piece chicken nugget meal. I get home, I open the bag and I have everything — fries and large drink napkins etc. all but the McNuggets! What is that?! So all in all… — 4 stars for messing up my order countless times + 1 star for the manager telling me I can get my next meal for free! Spanx! ** just a quick tip, if you decide to go here make sure everything is in the bag!**

I tend to go here after I hang out with some friends in the area, since it’s one of the only places that are open late. I can’t help it. It’s a guilty, drunken pleasure. This particular location was clean, fast, and not too crowded. I can’t say I have any complaints about it, considering I should know by now what to expect when I walk through those doors. No unpleasant surprises? That’s fine by me.

I share the same question with Timothy W., «I always question why I occasionally stop here… « Notorious for burning french fries. Burn my fries once, shame on you, burn my fries twice, shame on me? F$%& that. if I’m here it’s only because it’s the wee hours of the early AM and at a time when not a person is in sight and there’s no rush of a line to deal with, can you make my fries fresh? This is one of those locations I won’t drive back to for a corrected order. I haven’t tasted saliva dipped fries yet and I’d like to keep it that way.

I always question why I occasionally stop here… I love the redesigned interior which makes this a real, MODERN McDonalds… But it feels like the plans were reversed… It sits facing AWAY from the bigger intersection which it sits on the corner of… So that the Drive-Thru and back-door face the intersection, while the«front» faces a small strip mall next door… But as it is a modern McDonalds, the dual drive-thru lanes make ordering a lot easier and getting through it is quick and convenient… Of course… Getting through there with the right order… That’s asking a bit much. I’ve ordered things with no ice that show up with EXTRA ice, and any special instructions have about a 20% of being wrong.(For the first few weeks after they opened it was about 80%, they’ve gotten better… but I still have to check before I leave.) If the drive-thru wasn’t so convenient, I’d never go here… But while the service is sub-par, the the food is standard McDonalds. For some, that’s not really«food» and for others, it is that which their life revolves around… Make of it what you will.

I just hate the remodel of this McDonalds. The drive through is not only confusing, it allows a left had turn onto Clark which everyone should know is a horrible idea. All of the outdoor seating was eliminated and a solid ugly brick wall abuts the sidewalk. The drink station is positioned in the pathway from the doorway, everything about the design is wrong. Somethings are better left alone, this was one of them.

This is the very last resort for food, short of El Novillo in Rogers Park.
