Love it. What makes this place great is how clean it is and how nice the staff are. If their is a problem with what you ordered, there is no need to go crazy because as soon as you tell them the problem, they usually help make it right. Especially if you have your receipt.

I didn’t know so many old folks go here on a friday night! We tried the Jalapeño Double, but I prefer the Jalapeño Kicker Chicken Sandwich. The bacon ranch salad with crispy chicken was good! I didn’t like the one refill per customer rule(the soda being behind the counters).when I asked for no ice on my refill, I thought he’d discard the ice then refill my cup instead of refilling the cup with all that ice… I guess I was wrong. wait time was decent with all the people there at the time

If you go to this McDonald, make sure to check your bill every single time! I ordered a special $ 3 meal(egg mcmuffin w/small coffee) and a regular breakfast meal at $ 5.19. They charged me $ 3.49 for the special set minus the coffee. Apparently the mcmuffin sandwich costs $ 3.49 without the coffee so they typed that in instead of what I really ordered to charge me more. When I asked for my small coffee, they said $ 2 more. I asked to speak to the manager and he spoke to me and said the same thing. I pointed out that the special meal is $ 3 for the sandwich and meal so why would I pay an extra $ 2 for small coffee on top of the extra .49 cents I had already paid. Long story short, he gave me the coffee and was supposed to refund me .55 cents but would NOT refund me that amount! They did the same thing to me last time, shorted me $ 2 in change and thought I would not notice! People count your change!!! Every time I go they try to short me .04 cents or more saying they don’t have enough pennies and«it’s just a couple pennies.» Why don’t you give me a nickel since you are just losing ONE penny, how would you like that?! NEVER again playland or not!

Update… They still over salt their fries. Ordered from there and had to park and wait because I asked for no salt on my fries. I saw there«maintenance man» changing the garbage on the outside. Less than 1 minute later, the same man was delivering my food. In that time, he wouldnt have time to put the garbage away, wash his hands and then deliver my food. I did not want to yell at the guy, so I called and told the man who answered about what I saw and he apologized and said that«that was our maintenance man and he shouldnt be doing that.» Hopefully he really follows up on that and that it doesnt happen again. Disgusted.

A classic McDonald’s. I think it was the 56th one built but updated with a play place. Years ago, before the play place it had your general concrete picnic tables out front on a patio and the front still had the complete mansard roof. On the trees next door by the park they put birdhouses up in the 60’s or 70’s. They’re still there today if you care to look. A solid restaurant. Well managed and organized. Always a helpful crew staffed to provide.

Food was typical for mcdonalds-no complaint on that. The ac was on very low on a humid day. The cashier was somewhat slow. The play area smelled like a zoo. I’ll be sticking to the drive thru.

Yes, I’m sure we all know that this is McDonalds and not a five star gourmet restaurant. But this mcdonalds in particular sucks. Cold stale buns are not cool. Neither is never getting a freakin straw when you go through the drive-thru. And that play place? It is FILTHY. Please parents, don’t let your kids play in there.

Dude it’s McDonalds. As usual I sent back the fries and told them I wanted fresh… they said no problem 3 minutes. Didn’t care for the Angus Mushroom Wrap but it had nothing to do with this location in particular because every McDonalds tastes exactly the same. My kids had a blast in the play place. It’s McDonalds guys don’t take it so seriously…

Prices are higher than other McDonalds, they charge a fee for drive thru orders, charge for sauces other than ketchup or BBQ sauce, add an up charge for getting a drink with a kids meal that isn’t soda(so milk or apple juice cost extra) and don’t offer refills. Not just«no free refills.» They don’t do refills, period. It’s a McDonalds! How is that even possible? I won’t be going back.

I don’t need to tell you a thing about the food here, so you can stop with the eye roll or the«Why is Kellie reviewing McDonald’s» head scratching. Keep reading. What I’m going to tell you is a new secret weapon to combat wintertime/bad weather kid cabin fever and sluggishness. Yes, at Mc Donald’s. Head to the back of the restaurant and just past the sliding glass doors is your destination. Parents or other adults in charge of children: this location has a great play land area for kids, and better yet, you don’t have to pay an outrageous fee to use it or stand in a line just to get in. While I haven’t seen any kind of purchase enforcement to use the play area, I know keeping up with the little ones tends to make a grown-up thirsty. Grab yourself a coffee or other beverage that suits you and relax a bit while the little ones burn off that energy. It’s that simple. The equipment seems to be kept fairly clean, or as clean as it can be kept with little hands constantly climbing all over it. It can get a little busy on a Saturday afternoon, which is to be expected. My only complaint is that the sliding glass door is sometimes left open, which is probably noisy for the rest of the customers and one less obstacle to keep the little ones corralled when they get distracted and run away from the play equipment. Save those pennies and give it a try. Then, do yourself and the kids a favor and take them home, or anywhere else, to eat something a bit healthier. Besides, it’ll probably be naptime or bedtime anyway after all that running around. Yeah, for everyone. Bring the hand sanitizer and I’ll see you there.

The only reason why is particular McDonald’s is still in business is their playhouse. If they didn’t have it, they would have been closed. Overpriced, yes overpriced than other McDonald’s. 50% of the time, they don’t have the deals they have on TV. They add 20 cents more. No free refills, sorry. This McDonald’s is the only one I know that doesn’t have free refills.

With this economy the owner here has raised prices on combo’s. Find the Big Mac combo at a whopping $ 6 dollars and change. There are three other McDonald’s locations on Kedzie that are within a mile that charge less. WTF? This location is where I attended my first McDonald’s party where I met Ronald McDonald and Hamburglar. It’d be sad to see it closed, on this trend it may soon be.
