I love these lofts and this neighborhood! Truly has been one of the best places I’ve lived. McKinley park is beautiful and the lofts look upscale and are all made with updated appliances. There is a common room available for rent when you have 10 or more guests, a gym, gated parking, storage rooms, bike room, building activities for holidays, huge balconies and more. My husband and I are about to approach our 3rd year and we hope to buy one day. I can’t give this place a 5 because of a few things. Management has changed a few times since moving here and I don’t really approve of how the current manager provides service. There are parties in the summer that makes it hard to find parking if you don’t have a parking spot and there are rats surrounding the building supposedly. I’ve never seen them, but in our emails they mention its because people don’t pick up the dog poo. EVEN with those 3 downsides-this place is still great. We are 15 minutes from downtown and we pay barely anything for a 1 bedroom apartment. Water, cable and internet is included. We love McKinley park LOFTS.

I think this has been one of the best places I have ever lived. Maybe according to that bad review, in 2009 it wasn’t great, but I have lived here 3 years(since 2010) and I have nothing but good memories and experiences here with the tenants and the staff. Cesar and Lashaun are such helpful engineers of the building! We had about 3 property manager turnovers in the 3 years that I have been here but they have been alright. The only thing that I do not like about this place is the move in/move out fees. It’s $ 200 which is pretty ridic! I would give this place a try, the walls are not thin, I have never heard anyone walking above me, or hear voices of the units next to me… the building is also very energy saving!

Wow apparently I am living in a completely different building! I have nothing positive to say about this building at all. It is mostly a mixture of lowlife renters and a few of a hardworking people that lost all their investment when the units were auctioned off by the developer for next to nothing. Management has switched hands numerous times and unfortunately they were all pretty unreliable and useless. There have been no rules for the past two and a half years except for what whoever was in charge felt like enforcing at the moment. The parking lot looks awful and needs to be resealed and striped, the carpets are pet-urine stained, the ceilings leak in a number of units, the walls are paper thin, the freight trains are extremely loud, the parking spaces are too small, and the hallways smell of either smoke or cheap air freshner. Worst of all… nobody has respect for anyone else in the building. Good luck trying to find someone to hold a door, return a cart, or say«hello.» People also leave the workout room shirtless and have stolen weights in the past. I am extremelely disappointed in the building, the people in it, and the neighborhood. The park is filthy, filled with trash, and dangerous. The constant partying in the park during the summer months leaves no parking in front of the building. I have seen men urinating on trees from my balcony window! I wish I could move but I can’t. There is no resale value because the building has been run down to the ground and units auctioned off for a fraction of original prices. I am actually embarassed to say I live here. Buyer beware(if there even are any!)
