Michael is a very different type of personal trainer. I’ve seen a few trainers who(it seems) automatically put me into the same routine they would put a female my height and weight without really asking more about my strengths, my personal limits, my past workout routines, or even what made me decide to come. Michael actually took the time to ask all these question and came up with a routine that fit me perfectly. He even emails me tips and tricks to keep my diet and lifestyle in check. It’s nice when someone treats you more like a friend than a dollar sign! Let’s just say my perception of personal trainers has definitely changed for the better(With no thanks to a place that rhymes with lex-sport)! I would recommend Michael to anyone who actually wants to get real results while feeling confident and comfortable!

Michael has been my trainer for more than 5+ years and I can’t imagine working with anyone else. From day one he personalized my workout and takes a holistic approach to my health. I have worked with Michael @ 3 separate times; once to heighten my performance as a competitive athlete, a second time to recover from serious injury and finally a third time to look great in my wedding suit. Each and every time, Michael tailored a custom program to meet my needs, and exceeded my expectations. I was recommended to Michael by a friend and I must say I’ve been thanking that friend profusely. Working with Michael was an all around positive experience. Not only was my body and diet changed, my entire outlook on life was changed. I always left our sessions feeling happy and positive. I did an 8 week program and lost 4% of my body fat in just eight weeks! I was beyond impressed and am looking back to do some more«tuning-up» in the future. Michael did an EXCELLENT job of listening to my needs and desires for my body and designed custom programs for me to achieve my own personal goals(that I could do at home to keep myself on track for our sessions.) I never felt like I was working too hard(but I KNOW the next day I was working hard) because Michael kept my mind off the work with good conversation and discussions of self-improvement, music, and anything else to make me not realize how much I wanted to give up in the middle of my planks. Michael also does an excellent job of reviewing your diet with you helping you set food goals. I love that he recommended that I read«Eat to Live.» That combined with his knowledge of nutrition really revamped my entire relationship with food. I really can’t say enough good things, working with Michael was fantastic!

I’ve been training with Paul Witmer for about 5 weeks now. I’ve worked with a variety of trainers before and I really like Paul. He challenges me without being militant and keeps me progressing. He also listens to my feedback about the types of routines I like and am motivated by and adjusts accordingly. The facilities at Revival are very nice, well kept, and everyone there is friendly and helpful.

I’m a 65 year old grandma and have been going to Michael for a full year for one big reason —- he keeps me motivated! His workouts are varied, he’s attentive to all details and he keeps me on the individualized program he created for me. I’ve lost 12 pounds and increased strength and endurance in all sorts of ways. The free parking is easy and close and the gym never too crowded. Michael is a delightful human being and I always look forward to my visits, but that doesn’t mean that he doesn’t make me work hard.
