It’s a gas station! You swipe your card and pump gas like a boss! Woot! Woot!

The people that work here are very disrespectful and I would like to put a stop to this. I’m thinking about picketing this store because you can’t talk to people any kind of way. We don’t need you here on north Halstead.

Love this place always the go to spot and the staff is always working hard. Love that they have a Dunkin Donuts conveniently inside the store which is a plus. Keep up the hard work you guys rock!

I only stop here when absolutely necessary when my gas tank is empty, prices are extremely high. In addition, drivers should be very careful when entering and leaving the station there are a lot of people walking across the street everywhere. Many people loiter outside the station and do come up to the people purchasing gas. Every time I have had to go into the station there has been a very long line, because the lottery tickets are sold. Expect to wait for a long time to get to the cash register if you pay for anything inside. Make sure you have enough gas in your tank, so you can pass right by the station and avoid the aggravation.

My experience at this gas station was so poor that I’ve dusted off my Unilocal account just to pan it. The management apparently does not care about the scammers who loiter at the station, nor do the employees have any reservations about acting like scammers themselves. I was on my way to the Goose Island pub, but had to stop for gas to satisfy my anxious SO. I paid at the pump, and put a few gallons in the tank. As I started to leave, I noticed someone approaching, so quickly wrapped up and jumped in my car as he called out to me, «excuse me, sir!» Unfortunately, I needed to turn left, and there was a lot of traffic, so he ran to my car at the curb. He claimed that he worked for the station, pointing to his tag. He claimed that I would have to pay for my gas at the pump(again?) because by some error on his part, he had put a $ 20 cash payment toward my pump when it should have gone to another pump. This seemed immediately suspicious, and he did not understand when my SO said that it did not sound reputable. He insisted that I would have to run my card again, which sounded remarkably like a gas scam I’ve heard of. I decided to drive off, but not before he called us «f-ing cheap-ass Americans.» So I’ve wondered – was this man in fact a scammer, or did he actually work for Mobil as his name tag suggested? Either way, the management of this station is awful, but I was curious so have checked my credit card statement. The verdict is: no charge. Yep, service station employee. Thanks for the free gas and profanities, dude.
