I also found this place on Unilocal.For the first time in my life I bought an original piece of art for hundreds of dollars and felt that it deserved more expert attention than a frame with a coupon from Michaels.
The owner, Wanda, immediately started pulling out frame and mat samples. She picked a mat color that I would have never considered but it made my silkscreen pop. Her expert eye made the whole process go smoothly and I ended up with something stunning.
As for her prices, wow are they reasonable. She quoted me much less than I was expecting. I highly recommend Morgan gallery for getting anything of value, sentimental or price, framed.

I had an oil painting that my mother bought in Germany in the 1950’s. Took it to Antiques Roadshow and was told it needed to be cleaned and re-​framed. There are not a lot of art restorers in northern Wis, so I looked up places in Chicago where my daughter lives. Found lots of places, all were either in a location that was cumbersome or very expensive. Passed by Morgan’s on Milwaukee so we stopped in. Mrs. Morgan was helpful and gave us a very reasonable estimate, so we took in the picture.
It was beautifully cleaned and framed, in a timely fashion and it was VERY reasonable. I’ve had posters matted and framed for the same as this whole project was.
They even gave me a photo of the picture when it was half-​way cleaned so we could see the difference.

This place has some gorgeous paintings! I’ve never bought one so I’m not too sure about the prices but the work is amazing. The prices must be up there because you have to be buzzed in by an employee. Their stock always changes so it’s a great shop just walk around in and look at the artwork. Park on the street or in the little mini-​mall next door.
