The shop has good artist, is clean, and the previous owner Scott was not only an artist but a true proffesional when dealing with cancelations etc. He is no longer there. Currently, Kris Thomas, one of the artist, is really bringing the place down. The guy doesnt show up on time and cancels appointments set two weeks in advance, WITH A CONFIRMATIONTHEDAYBEFORE, 30MINBEFORETHEAPPT. He always has some sort of excuse, «my alarm didnt go off, im sick, I have a fever.» He has to be woken up by his co-workers meanwhile his appts are waiting in the shop. While I understand people get sick, cancel atleast an hour before the appt. I took off work, lost money, wasted time, and didnt get anything done because of this. Kris wants clients who are there when he wants them too, he makes it very clear he doesnt like to be canceled on but cancels without sufficient notice. While he may do great work, someone who is not resposible enough to be there on time and keep up with appts is just as good as no artist. The way he dealt with the situation… he mother fd me, said his work is too good, etc etc. No one should deal with this guy. No profesionalism at all. I do not want to bash the shop, because I have gotten most of my work done there since it opened but Kris is not a person anyone should deal with. He even bashed the work performed by the previous owner… very unprofessional. If you go to Mortal, skip Kris. He’s a waste of a chair in that place.
