This place is good for what it’s good for– late night pizza after drinking. That’s it– but I can appreciate it for that since it’s about the only thing open later than 11PM.

Great pizza in the LAKEVIEW section(not a lot of very good late night food options after 11 pm). Staff has always been friendly and easy going. Would return each w each visit.

2.5 stars Pros: Chicken Cacciatore(my mom’s favorite and it is Mother’s Day) Oyster crackers! with decent cream of chicken soup Okay garlic bread strips Good arriabata sauce Cons: Absolutely terrible fried calamari(over breaded with breading that didn’t stick and way overcooked) It’s an old school Italian-American place with decent enough food in large portions. I would go back if my mom wanted the Chicken Cacciatore again, but there’s nothing there that would cause me to want to go with a group of friends.

Not bad for quick pizza especially if you are drunk. Its weird that they have a bottle of stool softener in direct eyesight of the register… slightly off putting

I almost forgot about this place, They been at this location for last 25 years and let me tell you the owner is still at the counter. Harry is one of the standup guys and really knows how to take care of business. Most of the food is just Awesome and the Broccoli stuffed pizza is unbelievable. Out of this world My other favorite is Chicken Cacciatore. Everything else is great. This is a must place to go if you like good food.

I recently moved to lake view and after walking past Nancy’s several times, y boyfriend and I decided to stop in one late night! The service was great and the food was amazing!!! We had a deep dish pizza that was so flavorful! I’ve had Gino’s and Lou’s but Nancys beats them both :) can’t wait to continue to eat Nancys :)

Good stuffed pizza! Loved the sauce flavor but it was a bit watery. The cheese was good too — not overly salty and the crust was nice and crunchy. Sausage was decent but not near as good as the sausage at Pizzeria Due. Service was great too!

The pizza was great! It was pretty empty on a Friday night and we got great service. We got the pepperoni thin crust and it was delicious! The crust was crispy and you could tell the cheese was legit. I will probably be back for take out!

We ordered a 18″ extra thin and crispy pepperoni pizza, which the site puts as one of the choices. We requested for it to be cooked a little extra so the pepperonis are crispy. What we got was a still steaming right out of the oven 18″ pepperoni pizza delivered by the absolute friendliest, most warm delivery lady I’ve EVER encountered. A sincere genuine smile, with crushed red peppers and Parm/oregano blend packets taped to the box. OUTSTANDING customer service. My criticism, and I want to keep this constructive, is that the extra thin and crispy was NEITHER extra thin(I would call pan or hand tossed) nor crispy. It was a soft, bland basic flour dough thin crust very similar to a freezer cook it yourself pizza. Once again, not bad pizza just nothing even remotely close to what the site advertises. I am puzzled by all the reviews that point to the contrary. Are they employees or friends of the restaurant? If they’re from Chicago they should know better. There’s a lot of competition in this town with regards to pizza. One review said the sauce was the secret, not sure what that means. Once again, seemed very pedestrian, out of a can taste to it. Not bad just not the product described. We were sad and disappointed with the pizza, could have paid half the price and cooked it ourselves out of a box.

I love Nancy’s pizza. Everyone there is great. I love their thin crust pizza. I recently tried their deep dish, it was just as good. And they open till 4am during the weekends. Great neighborhood pizza joint

Tried a slice of the pepperoni thin crust and it was better than I expected. The cheese, crust, and pepperoni were all in nice ratios and it was good for a to-go slice($ 3.60). Definitely better than places like Bacci’s. I will have to try the deep dish next time. Ps– who is Nancy?

If you’re looking to try true Chicago Deep Dish, this is the place to go. I’m a pizza minimalist so I just went with the simple cheese pie. One pizza is enough for four to share. The slices are massive, gooey, messy and delicious. If you do order a deep dish pizza, be prepared to wait. It will take about 45 minutes, but I do prefer to eat in than do carry out /delivery. Deep dish is best fresh out of the oven!

Surprisingly tasty stuffed pizza! I wouldn’t recommend eating in the restaurant. Clearly, it’s seen better days. When I visited, there was a corner table with a «Reserved» sign on it. No one ever came. We were the only two eating in the restaurant. Get delivery or carry-out. I ordered a stuffed pepperoni pizza and really liked it. The star was a zesty sauce. It was a combination of sweetness and herbs that made every bite awesome. My girl ordered an extra thin crust spinach pizza. I should have broken up with her right then. Predictably, it was just adequate. Nothing amazing. She looked forlornly at me and admitted my pizza was better. I like Nancy’s better than Giordano’s. Comparing it to Lou Malnati’s/Pequod’s/etc. should be disallowed since those aren’t stuffed. * Bonus: Stuffed pizza leftovers tasted excellent after being reheated.

Ordered delivery from here on a Sunday late afternoon and got the deep dish with spinach and mushroom, as well as an order of wings. Took about an hour. Food was piping hot, which was excellent. The wings were terrible. I could have went to jewel and bought a frozen bag that’s flavored and made them my self. Pizza– was descent, but the sauce needs work. It wasn’t as sweet as I like. I think I paid near $ 30 too, so they are expensive, for not being awesome

Went there with several friends one weekday afternoon. Even though there were really only two other customers there besides us, it took an amazingly long time for the waitress to stop over, as well as taking our drink orders. There was no music for a nice ambiance — the tv was set on some Spanish station(nothing against that, but it doesn’t really fit with the vibe of a pizza place). A little dark in there too; I felt tired just sitting there. However, the pizza itself was good — but I’m very Meh on the appetizers. Probably a good place to just grab a slice on the go, but not much of a dining experience.
