Network Custom Wiring

This is THE WORST experience that we have never had with a service provider!!! If we could have given this business 0 starts, we would have. The owner, Ed Macias, is a fraud and has no idea what he is doing. He was hired to set up a home theater and speaker system throughout our home. Only 1 week after installation, our receiver burned out. We never had any problems with the receiver during the year that we used it in our previous home. After doing some research, our suspicion was that the receiver over-​heated because he placed another component on-​top of the receiver (a very amateur mistake), Nevertheless, since we couldn’t be certain that this was the issue and Mr. Macias was very adamant that it was not, he was able to talk us into purchasing a new receiver, only to have the system fail a mere 2 weeks thereafter and he made sure he left sufficient room for the vents this time. We have been doing research on our own and have learned that it could also be the case that the latest receiver we had purchased, per his recommendation, is not compatible with the wiring that he installed even though he helped us pick it out. Our attempts to reach him and get him out to house have been unsuccessful. He will not answer our phone calls, aside from the one time we reached him by calling from a number that he probably did not recognize. DO NOT USE THIS PERSON OR HIS BUSINESS– PLEASE! He is a fake and does not know what he is doing, and in fact, is no longer doing this on a full-​time basis and had to take another full-​time job, most likely because of his horrible work and the bad reputation he developed with his previous clients. He may tempt you by coming in with a low bid and during these challenging economic times this can be very tempting indeed; but, please do not let this persuade you. We are sorry that we did and we have learned from our mistake…$ 4,500 later!!!
