Man, what happened to this place I once loved going to??? I know it’s hard staying relevant and at the top in the chicago nightlife scene but many have done it, Nikki seemed destined to be one of those places. Great location, awesome building and SOME free parking spots(if you’re lucky) However all of that doesn’t matter much because I strongly recommend to you to choose somewhere else. The valet was $ 20! More than I’ve ever paid at any club, it’s usually $ 12-$ 15, Ok but don’t expect a tip! The guys at the door were rude and cold even though my group was mostly friendly girls, they also FORCED us to check out SCARFS!!! Wow, also told us it was mandatory to check coats(you basically spend $ 30 before even stepping on the dance floor!) NOTWORTHIT! The main floor was sticky and smelled like sour milk ;(maybe someone had really bad B. O) The latin floor has really fallen off. Gone are the days of good LATIN music at Nikki, go somewhere else for Spanish music!!! The drinks are SUPEREXPENSIVE maybe it’s a theme they have going on, «over price everything» I paid $ 22 for two well drinks ;( I wouldn’t come back, really wish this place was as good as before … Go SOMEWHEREELSE

Nice venue but sadly Waaaay overpriced. There’s a $ 20 door cover that they greet you with + mandatory coat check(that’s another $ 4 to your entrance fee) before charging you $ 7 for Coronas!!! Who does that??? We’re NOT in Vegas. There is a major credit card issue at this place. The bartender told me that they will charge me an additional $ 6 for swiping my credit card. I do not know what kind of tax evasion these guys are pulling. Soooo for many people, half of your budget is going into paying fees alone at this place. I’ll only visit this place once a year from here on on. Want a good place with no cover? Latin Bliss. Detention. Leg Room. Go to Wrigley and visit Deuces and Diamonds. No cover and the girls are cuter.

Had a blast at Nikki nightclub. It was spacious, the music was good & the dancers were entertaining. Positive vibe and chill crowd. Would def consider throwing a party there.

This place was a good 3 star last year. How it has fallen this summer 2014 R.I.P. $ 20 cover thankfully I had a birthday party text so it was only $ 10 after 12. Regardless this place was dead and the bouncers were rude for no reason. You’re better off elsewhere.

Horrible experience! Don’t go to this club! Security guys are assholes. We came here for my sisters birthday and it sucked. They don’t let girls wear flats? My boyfriend and i were sitting in some benches and for no reason the security kicked us out and told us we have been sitting there for a while now? wtf

First off, I have to start by saying how much fun I had this past Saturday at Nikki!!! Definitely coming back here. First off, the music is great. They have different variety playing all night, from hip-hop to EDM to Latin — ALL kinds! Besides them having great DJs and playing great music all night, their drinks are just perfect. Honestly, their bartenders know what they’re doing behind the bar. This is definitely the place to go if you are looking for a one stop shop! The other great part is that they are opened until 5am! Ohhh and to top it off, their sexy staff always make you feel welcomed! It doesn’t get better than that! If you’re looking for a place to go on a Saturday night, look no more! You’ve found your destination :)

They’re shoe regulations are ridiculous. Girls can’t wear flats??? I’m sorry, but last time I checked flats were dress appropriate shoes. I’m sorry that not all girls want to wear stilettos and look like the hookers that end up giving you STIs. I used to like this place, but now their regulations are stupid. Over it! I’m sticking to clubs in downtown now.

If you’re looking for a big dance party, this is a good spot. Downstairs, you get a mix of hip hop and latin beats. Upstairs, it’s more salsa, merengue, and bachata. This club draws in a Latin crowd and it’s fun. The dance floor downstairs is spacious, but it will get crowded as time passes. Expect to wait in line outside for about 15 minutes unless you’re on a birthday guest list. Wear comfortable shoes because you will be dancing!

Disappointed!!! Pre booked bottle service here on Oct. 26th during one of their many Halloween parties. Our first and last time coming to this place. First time we’ve ever had to stand in line for 45 minutes when we already had table reservations… Any other place you say your name and walk right in who makes big spenders stand in line that’s bad business, we bought 3 bottles for $ 1250 I was initially asked for a card or cash without even seeing a receipt of what I’m paying for, you must prepay here for bottle service can’t leave an open tab. They must have gotten screwed one too many times. Although pre paying ensures horrible service, aside from dropping off our bottles they hardly ever checked in. I had to request lemonade 5 Times from 3 different people before I got it. When I first walked up and asked for where the bottle serve line was they said wait right here. They asked those currently in line if anyone had a party reservation, after they sorted out the line they put us in the back. Shldnt the line have been sorted as guests initially arrived. They were very unorganized, During our time in line they allowed atleast 30 general admission partiers walk in before attending to the VIP line. Get it together people ur losing business fast, i complained to Christian Gracia about how much their service sucked when we first walked in he made promises to check in with me throughout the night and never did. Highly disappointed this place sucks listen to the reviews don’t waste ur time here.

NOT. A. FAN. DON’T go here! My friend and I decided to go here one night to meet up with some of his other friends who were coming here to for some Latin style music. Well, parking was $ 20 and it was $ 20 to get in and the crowd here was… well, let’s just say not classy whatsoever haha. I was pretty shocked that it was that much to get in, especially for a place that’s not even downtown. So we got in and the people working inside walk around with flashlights hovering over everyone to make sure no one is doing anything wrong. It’s pretty insane. The music isn’t really worth the money and hassle of this place.

So I guess this was Crobar? I’d never been to either, but this place is really, really nice. The sound is great in the upstairs part, which has beautiful wood floors and a small dance area and two bars. There is plenty of seating for those who are bored like I am and you can stare at the dancing strangers nearby. The downstairs area is larger with great sound. although if you sit downstairs, you’re going to get nothing but reverb, which feels like your eardrum starting to burst. I went for a special event, so everyone was friendly with a breeze through the door and everything. Not sure if I’d come back for just any night. There were a few non club, «let’s look cute» ladies, with heels and done hair, which was not the scene that night. All in all, a good time, I was comfortable, great sound.

Went to Nikki’s on Friday night. Apparently we picked the wrong night to go. The place was pretty much dead the entire time we were there. Music was not bad, played a lot of cheesy pop/hip hop mixes. Drinks were priced about average. When we asked the bouncers what was up with the place being a ghost town, we were informed that they had lost their promoter for Friday nights, and next time to come try it out on a Saturday night. We made the best of it, but I would not recommend this place for a Friday night if you are looking for a lively joint.

Love this place! The DJ is great! Lovin the rap music played here. The only drawback is the humongous line outside to enter. It sometimes takes a half hour to get in.

Let me start by saying that I do not live a glamorous life and I am a man of humble resources and assets. When I went to Nikki for the first time, it was like walking into a Las Vegas night club, I was unable to contain my elation. The people were so beautiful and the music was electric. After finishing 3 Budweiser bottles I went to the bathroom and believe it or not some guy was making out with a woman adjacent to the urinal I was standing at. With an atmosphere like that, it feels as though anything can happen. My only gripe is that there are no Groupon’s available for this place, and some girl got pissed at me after I sniffed her neck in passing.

Friday nights are probably their best nights, Saturdays are decent(get there at 11 or 11:30ish and they’ll be filling up within an hour or two). When I first heard about this club, didn’t think much of it mainly because I think it’s a joke when nightclubs pop up on a street as random as Kingsbury St(down the block from Joe’s on Weed St: p) and expect to be the next big nightclub scene. They do a good job of looking the part, with a few dozen security guys in jackets and ear-gear. Regardless, my friend started promoting their Friday nights, and the place grew on me to the point where I started going every Friday. If you have a car, there is a valet parking lot area between this club and the one next door, which is actually really nice. Too bad there’s always construction on the road. You can also find a handful of street parking spots(which are going to be free after 9pm), but beware if you park right in front of the club, the bouncer can be an asshole to you and tell you to move it or refuse entry(true story)…so in that case just move it 20 feet forward, to the other open street spots right in front of you, make sure the bouncer sees, and tell him to piss off when you come back. Bottles cost 2 – 3 bills depending on the bottle, and I would make sure to check that they’re charging you the right price since I had some bs that happened twice or three times now(but as always, make sure to tip your bottle server). Drinks are similarly overpriced, but not the worst. The thing I like the most about this spot is the VIP section upstairs with the glass windows overlooking the crowd(and they usually have a better electronic DJ upstairs, most of the times). I also like how this is the first club I’ve been to and can honestly say that they are adequately staffed with bartenders and bars. They have a large bar in the main area, a side bar next to the dance floor, an upstairs bar overlooking the dance floor, and two additional bars in the VIP section. Getting a drink is never an overwhelming challenge at this establishment, even if it’s a busy Friday/Saturday night, you won’t have to wait 20 – 30 minutes to get a damn drink :)

My cousin decided to celebrate her 24th birthday here this past Saturday. I showed up at 11:30PM only to be welcomed to a long ass line full of Northwest suburban early 20 year olds. It was a little chilly out and all the ladies were in short dresses and heels(not mad at that). They had a separate line for bottle service and birthday party attendees outside of the club… when did that start? Thanks to the b’day party line, my wait was only 25 mins instead of an hour and a half. One of the douchebag bouncers outside found the need to brag to his friends about kicking some guy’s ass last week. guys like that get those kind of jobs to get payback from their years of high school getting their asses kicked. Once I was inside, I was welcomed to lots of hispanic inspired music as the waitress told me the population is mainly hispanic kids from the northwest burbs on Saturday nights. Everyone was pretty cool and chill and seemed to be having a good time. The dancefloor was packed full of hotties and homies doing the damn thang. I decided not to get in there a show them what was up. lol I went upstairs to chill with my party as they had bottle service. Crazy enough and because it was my cousin, I bought the next one(a bottle of Belvedere Vodka) which set me back $ 220…damn. I got drunk because of that alone as I make it a personal policy to never do bottle service. That same bottle of Belvedere is $ 35 maximum in any liquor/grocery store. All in all, I actually had a good time and would maybe return if someone was having something here. I will say they need to come up with a different name for this club which is the old Crobar. Not a huge fan of it being called Nikki Nightclub

Soo I must be determined to post this review because it deleted itself and I am typing it again, hoping it has the same effect as the first time. I digress. Soo in an effort to burn myself out on everything that is Chicago, I head to Nikki’s to meet up with some friends. I find the club and walk up. and meet the cloaked bodyguard who’s guarding the door like this place is the place to be at and you gotta be the person to be at the place to be at. Our exchange wient like this: Him: Are you here with someone/group. It’s a private event(or something of that effect) Me: No, I am here to see my friend and I am not sure if its a part of anything Him: Normally, it would be $ 20 Me: *deer caught in headlights* WHAT? Him: Well I can make an exception for $ 10 Me: Hmm, okay. I walk in and this place is EMPTY. If I would have yodeled, I promise I would have heard myself 10x over. This guy is guarding the door as if its overflowing with Chicago’s finest! Mind you its 2AM on a Saturday. I meet my friends(guys) and they say they paid $ 10 to get in with no questions. Still scratching my head here. Moving along. From my understanding this nightclub used to be Vibe or something but its reopened and remodeled. With that said, it’s a beautiful club(2 floors). It plays mostly Spanish influenced music and if they played other music, I never heard it. My friends say the drinks were kinda pricey and they would do better to have table service. All in all, there were a ton of other things to do on a Saturday night than get they courtesy of a «discount» at an empty club.
