Everything was pretty good. I will be ordering from here again! see my photos for greater descriptions. Overall — pretty much everything you order will be great. I would be surprised if you were disappointed.

I give this place five stars because it is what you expect it to be, a cheap Chinese restaurant. For a quick and cheap Chinese meal you can’t beat North garden. No, it’s not the best Chinese food in the world, but it’s cheap which is perfect for a night when you just don’t feel like cooking. My girlfriend and I have ordered from here three times now and have always been pleased with our food and have never waited longer than a half hour for pickup. Definitely recommend.

For whatever reason, finding good Chinese takeout seems impossible in Chicago. My favorite place is closed on Sundays and is out of the way so decided to try North Garden. Great prices and quality. Easy to order on GrubHub also. The default fried rice is with shrimp — which tastes great but I’m hoping to request chicken, pork, vegetarian next time so I can share with my partner who does not eat seafood.

Awesome cheap Chinese food ready fast. Very good quality for the price. Great service too! They have Americanized favorites like sesame chicken and Kung pao but also authentic Chinese dishes so you can get adventurous if you’d like! Lunch and dinner specials can’t be beat.

omg, if you’re a clean freak like me, you won’t want to dine in. very messy and, quite frankly, dumpy. plus the neighborhood was crawling with police(high crime area). my husband loved the food and the portions were huge. i really didn’t care for anything i tried.

They have a huge menu and the food is consistently good. I’ve only ordered delivery, but I can’t imagine dining in that the food doesn’t taste even better.

This place is a hidden gem in Argyle! I usually go to Honeymoon café(but they’re lacking now due to their service) or Sun Wah(but they constantly have sanitation issues) for some Chinese food but I randomly decided to grubhub from them. I ordered the general tso chicken, combination chow fun, salt n pepper Japanese tofu, and walnut shrimp. I decided to pick this up since it was very close in proximity. My total for all this food turned out to be around $ 30 and I also had a coupon to get a free large chicken fried rice(purchases over $ 25). This food gave us leftovers for days! I didn’t dine in, so I cannot comment on that. I can say that the food was delicious. I love their portions and they also have great lunch specials that beats the area. I definitely recommend going to this mom and pop shop. You won’t be disappointed!

I love this place. The portions for price is fantastic. Best crab Rangoon in uptown. Their coupons on grub hub are rockin’!

Ordered the General Tso’s chicken and some egg rolls. The chicken lacked flavor, wasn’t spicy and looked like one cohesive blob of breading and grease. The egg rolls had an odd flavor as well(nutmeg?). Although the food wasn’t great, the customer service was responsive, and they resolved the issue quickly and painlessly.

Ordered for delivery tonight. We ordered Mongolian beef and Sesame Chicken, both with vegetable fried rice. The delivery took about 45 min, which wasn’t bad. The food was below average. The fried rice had shrimp in it. Needless to say, we will seeking other Chinese restaurants in the future.

Just picked up take out from this place. Very solid food for the money. Great addition to the neighborhood. The dumplings are nice and doughy like they should be without being greasy. The egg rolls are nice and crispy without being greasy plus they’re packed with tasty seasoned meat instead of a bunch of cabbage and sprouts. Everything I ate was good without being overly oily like most of the competition in the area. Long list of lunch and dinner specials to choose from. Great prices, friendly staff, good food and quick. This is my new go-to more affordable Asian restaurant alternative to Lao Sze Chaun for me from here on out.

My no.1 favor restaurant of north side. Great Cantonese cuisine with nice taste. The place is small, more liked a family runs business. But so what? I love everything I tried here

My grandmother called me and asked me to meet her here for lunch. She said it was new and that all of her friends love it. I’m always down for trying new places so I packed up the kids and went on over. It’s tiny, maybe enough seating for 20 or so people. The servers were pretty friendly for a divey Chinese place, maybe it’s because I was there with old Chinese ladies. We had some deep fried tofu, eggplant with pork and this gigantic steamed chicken, lapchang(Chinese sausage) and rice steamer basket. Everything was amazing. My kiddo inhaled the tofu and my grandma and her friend tore into that steamer basket. The steamer is pricey at $ 35 but delicious. TONS of food in there. But everything else was super cheap and they have decent lunch specials/portions. My grandma already invited me back to go next week so I suspect I’ll be a regular.
