Computer sales and repair shop on the far North side of Chicago. Decent selection of personal computers, used and new for sale. I think they can do custom builds per your request and it won’t cost as expensive as buying a general PC at any of the bigger retailers.
The reason for my rating was with the pricing for repair. I wanted to work with them but the pricing they quoted me on a power source change for a older laptop was extremely high in comparison to the other quotes I got. In the end had I allowed it, I could’ve purchased a used lap top for the same rate. I wish the tech I was working with was willing to fold at least a little. Instead I asked about removing the hard drive and for that they wanted almost fifty dollars. For time, labor and the cost of an enclosure. I only asked just to see what he would say. I went to Micro center and got an enclosure for five dollars. I did the removal myself and it took five minutes.
