Came here for a pre-​wedding cut last weekend and was extremely impressed. Junior gave me a great cut for an extremely low price. I’d recommend his place to guys who need a simple cut done quickly. My cut is excellent and was done with extreme efficiency.

Old Irving Salon is a real find. Junior is a great guy who really listens. At 60, I’ve hit the hair-​thinning stage, so it’s harder to get the look I want. Always comes out fine with Junior. Also, how can you possibly beat $ 12 for the basic cut? Good deal… good vibe.

Junior’s great. Scheduling is easy. Very reasonable price for the cut and he does a great job. The shave on occasion is a nice treat. Been going here for about 8 years when I moved to the neighborhood. I used to pay $ 40 for a cut downtown and Junior’s cut is just as good for much less.

Junior does a great job at a good price. I get a consistent good cut. His place is clean and it is a pleasant atmosphere, and I have have spent a lot more and the cut was no better.

Dollar-​for-​dollar, this place offers the best value in Chicago. $ 20 got me a shampoo, cut, blow-​dry and a straight-​blade shave. Junior Sanchez and his mother take care of you like family. Recommended.

Excellent haircut from Junior, the owner (and sole employee?). This place is very clean, with a small sitting area kept stocked with magazines ranging from GQ to People. On the wall, a TV quietly played CNN.
My haircut only cost $ 12, and it’s the best one I’ve ever had in Chicago!
P. S. It’s across the street from the best BBQ in town, Smoque, so make an afternoon of it!
P. P. S. A nice touch I forgot to mention: Junior offers straight razor services for men’s faces ($ 10), and shaved my neck during the haircut that way too.
